"Did somebody say Turkey???? If Turkey was selected as the National symbol of the US ,would we eat Bald eagle on Thanksgiving??? "
=======================================
Would you believe that the US Government had a bounty on the Bald Eagle ? Don't know when (and why) it was started, but when I moved to Annette Island in SE Alaska in '51 there was a bounty on them... Happily, I was NOT a very good shoter with my single shot .22 rifle..... If I remember correctly, the bounty was something like $7.00........
I just downloaded "dropbox" and added some photo albums into it and was as easy as eating pie.... I use AOL so this solved a problem for me...
THATS NO PHOTO ! ! ! Thats a Hallmark Card...........
Just kidding ! Talk about photo perfect...........

Beautiful couple & nice pic. :P :-P :thumbup:
Here's my take on this pic. IMHO. :P
======================================
To me, the original , not touched up is far better than the re-touched which is quite harsh in color/contrast.... The orginal was,I should say is, a beautiful warm portrait of a happy couple...
THAT , without a doubt is the brightest rainbow I've ever seen.. ! ! !
To me, the orginal is by far the best...
In the "improved" version, again to me, the only improvement was the color of the rust on the top of the grain cyclo.... The green grass dissapeared and every aspect of the barn was "flushed" away.....
Some things just do not need "improving".... Of course that just my opinion.......
Spent a week one night in Buffalo ..... At least the Falls were the highlite of the trip....
Thanks MPratter, I will most certainly keep you in mind..
By golly Ollie, I found one that does the half-frame slide mounting....

Well, I picked up my very first camera off of ebay, a 35mm Mercury 11 that takes 1/2 size pictures....
Does anyone possible know of who might do dev. and printing for this size ???
I wouldn't touch ANYTHING in this picture....It is so good, its allmost unreal.............
Then - there are the end results of bad fortune... These are a series of shipwrecks in Alaska... I did NOT take them... Even in death there still is beauty...
