Thank you all for your help.

My last true SLR was a Nikon F in 1972 !

I am currently using a "bridge" camera, the FujiFilm HS30, with raw capture abilities.

Native format is 4:3.

I think I see a true DSLR(likely Nikon DX) in my future.

I am doing a series of product shots that will have a final format of 1:1(square).

Logic tells me to shoot 4:3. :roll:

Any suggestions or guidelines would be appreciated. :D
