Yes, I was in a hide. This pool is a popular haunt for Kingfishers. I have many pictures taken here and at nearby pools.

Thanks all. For those on here recently wondering about the Fujifilm X series: this was taken with the X-T1 and the XF 100-400 at 400mm making it 600mm with the crop factor. The bird was about half a kilometer distant. The above pic was a crop of about one eighth of the frame. I'll post the full frame below...
This was actually the next shot in the series.
