I couldn't spring for a model w/ a view finder but absolutely find one is necessary in most 'sunlight' situations. So I did opt for the VF2 attachable viewfinder and it works just fine for me. The VF4 is way overpriced. I know most that use a point and shoot camera seem to get use to pointing in the direction you want and clicking......I prefer the viewfinder.
You have a good one there.....I have a Panasonic G5 and olympus PL 5 and PM 2.
Hey Mac, I have a couple of mirrorless, down from my Nikon D50.
Here is a review on one I just got.....I don't have the big bucks to go for 'pro' models but this really does a nice job. Panasonic and olympus are the only two w/ interchangable lenses AND I bought a 17.00 adapter to fit my minolta md LENSES, and now I have quick a 'stock' of various lenses to use. Only problem is you have to shoot in manual mode. But those film lenses were made like sherman tanks and I ESPECIALLY LOVE that the aperature ring is ON the lens, not in some menu. Anyway here is the link for a short review.

lucky you.....I still can't find them for olympus 4/3 lenses! boooooo (rear push on)
I haven't really found any for 4/3rds lenses yet but not in a hurry.....
Actually I also have been looking for the clear 'push on' rear lens caps for my olympus 4/3 lens, or rather, the olympus lenses that fit a micro 4/3 olympus/panasonic camera.
I prefer the 'push on' concept as sometime the others get bumped or untwist from the real of the lens....but I haven't had any luck.
I like the concept.
I hadn't heard about the woolite but did about hand washing.....thanks for reminder.
I use these also...........personally I think they are very good.

You may be right.....but.....
ck the manual under CHOOSING THE FOCUS AREA....
and....its the same w/ my canon 350xt, tho older for sure, has the same type settings as nikon(which is old also)
there is a setting w/in the menu for, like, center spot and group shots....
Just a thot.
It may be where the focal point is set on the camera. On my Nikon you can set it to focus left, right, top bottom or center....or all......
That may be what is off.........
Reindeer, my minolta is a 1.4 also........the fotodiox has adapters for several cameras.....so mine was a minolta lense to a micro 4/3rds and because panasonic and olympus have interchangable lenses, I can use the minolta/kalimar lenses for both w/ the adapter, those being film lenses. The only problem is that now they are only manual focus. Fotodiox makes several adapters ...ck them out on amazon.
I can't say I've lost much of anything, perhaps minimal but I LOVE that the aperature ring is on the lens and not buried in some menu w/ digital photography. I just tried to attach a pic taken w/ the Kalimar lens.....I bought it over 45 yrs ago....but its a good pic.....I don't know if the pic will attach....not exactly sure....
Actually, the adapter I got from amazon didn't work so I called direct....here is the info.....then you will know for sure.....this is out of IL. Hope this helps

This may not apply ....directly, but I kept all my film lenses....just because.........
Last yr I bought a panasonic G5 and an olympus PM2...interchangable lenses.
I bought a Fotodiox MD adapter for my minolta lenses and Kalimar which I used on the minolta film.....and both work excellent on these cameras, tho only in manual focus. Film lenses were built like tanks and have stood the test of time and durability. Glad I can use them again. Oh, and the adapter.....$20!
