Easy, I shoot Pentax K7 with DA 18-135 WR {weather resistant} lens and don't worry about keeping the camera dry. Dust stays out too. Cliff

Interesting to see Ravens in the High Desert. We saw many in the Queen Charlotte Islands, Canada and in Alaska. Occasionally, one is seen in Puget sound area. Good shots.

The ravens here seem to think the Desert Torotise, an endangered species, are their own food buffet and their main food source. TFL Cliff

I have lived in the Upper Mojave Desert for 30+ years and this was the first time I have ever experienced fog in this part of the desert. Jan 26 2013. Even the Raven are grounded. Visibility about 50 yards...Enjoy Cliff

They do wait, the little black dog standing, my calls him the viper, as soon as something hits the floor he gets it. I just looked at your bio, must have been a interesting career. I was drafted into the army in 1965, I guess I was lucky I spent 19 months in Heidelberg Germany. Thanks for looking!! :-D :-D

Yes very interesting. Lived in Spain & Japan and sailed around the globe crossing the equator around 20 times, and visited numerous countries as "ports of call" Really enjoyed Spain

Long time Pentax shooter, started in 1969 with a Pentax Spotmatic w/50 1.4 lens, added a 35 and 135 within a year. A series of K mount cameras thru the years along with some P&S digitals that I was never pleased with. Got my 1st DSLR in 2010 a Pentax K2000 followed by my present Pentax K7. My go-to lens is the Pentax DA18 -135 WR zoom and the Tamron LD70-300 macro is my long lens. I try to have a camera with me all the time as I keep a Nikon S9100 & S8100 in my car and truck. From time to time I shoot a roll of film "just because". Therefore I do not miss many photo ops. Will post soon.....Cliff
