Well, that goes to show you, it won't be the meek who will inherit the world. It will be the idiots.

But you may be wrong. There is nothing "meek" about idiots. It's as if they have this need to confirm their stupidity the moment they open their mouths.

Never said meek were the idiots.
Well, considering they won't be re-writing the "Good Book" anytime soon, we will have to assume it's just a passing fad. I'm still betting on the meek. You know the ones. They don't complain or knit-pick or hang on every word and correct people. They don't need to be "heard" or have their feelings "validated".

What you had just described is becoming a rare trait in a person.

You are so very right. I tell those people that need all that to go on Facebook. They can get plenty of that there. I call it the "affirmation" or the "pay attention to me" social network. No matter what you do or say, there will be someone to agree, affirm and coddle your idea or your feelings. So, we've talked about the idiots and the weak.

I remember just last Thanksgiving; pigeon over an open fire, gravy made from hot snow, rat bones for utensils, moms’ body for a comfy seat, and dad singing holidays songs with the homosexuals. We toasted our future with hot snow laced with rubbing alcohol and ate N. Korean cakes for desert.

Just another warm loving holiday in America. I took pictures on the back of my shopping bag using a stolen Bic pen.

And we were going to go to Pittsburgh for the holidays but it was disguised as Leningrad so we couldn't find it. More and more cities are disguising themselves as European cities that now I don't have to spend a lot of money on plane fare to Europe. Thanks N. Korea!

This is so funny, I nearly fell off the body in the blue plastic bag which I use for a chair. You Americans are so rich! Over here in the UK we can only dream of the luxury of a tent, we have to make do with holes in the ground and of course the very rich live in caves. Last week we had a real treat we caught a rat and shared it with our neighbors in the next hole I managed to get a small piece of its left testicle yummy. Hopefully the winter will last for ages so we will have some more snow.
Did anyone else notice in some scenes there are palm trees and they're talking about hot snow? Would that be a tropical snow? And the women sitting on the so called "Body bags" of friends (very good friends) looked like she never skipped a meal. What a joke.

These critters are pretty common this time of year but it's hard to find one that isn't perched on top of a power pole. Settings were 300mm @ 1/500. Aperture @ 9.0

OOPS. Maybe I should have downsized this one.

Downsize nothing, that is one beautiful picture and Sowa (Polish for owl).

Recently when going through lot of family photos, it occured to me that years from now my family will try to view these photos and not have any idea who the subjects in the photo are. In the old days we wrote on the pack of the print. I have tried researching a way to embed this information into the photos. I feel sure there is a way but I have a mental block on the procedure. I am sure that future generations will not all have photoshop to read this data. I really hope someone can enlighten me. I have Elements 10. I suppose I would save the photos in JPEG. Thanks for any help.

Years from now your family will be lucky if they are able to view them because of computers and compatible software. Make sure you transfer these images to any new computer you purchase in the future. Many of these images will be lost because most people aren't aware of this. Even if you back everything up on a disk, that disk needs to be read by any updated software. How quickly things become obsolete.

What a worthless human pretender!

So, are you saying all gay men are full of pestilence and disease, and that you could literally catch something from underwear? Like the old "caught it from a toilet seat"? Think you're the worthless human pretender!

Hollywood seems to have a thing about re-writing history.

Bravo to Canada, but c'mon folks. It's Hollywood. Do you believe the "Sound of Music" was an accurate depiction of the Von Trapp family plight? Do you believe they got evey detail right in "Schindler's List".
The movie is based on a true story. It never claims to be anything but.
Relax and enjoy the show.

Have you heard anything about the Tamron 17-39mm lens? That was one recomended to me but not sure if the guy was just trying to make a sale. Would rather stick with a Canon but I want the best lens for the job.

I need a recomendation on a good wide angle Canon lens. This is mainly used for shooting finished design work in smaller spaces such as an office or a clinic. I know there are differences in wide angles and the prices are all over the board. I need one that will not bend the edges for shots being used for marketing publications and printed brochures. Please help. have a Canon Rebel T3i.
