These are in the Wetherrill section of Mesa Verde National Park. You have to take the road off to the right from the park center and go twelve miles. It is just about the only thing out there. These are but just a small portion of the ruins.

Nice job. I did weddings for 23 years. You can learn a lot about people this way.

Last Monday I spent a few hours at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, most of it shooting the new lion cubs, but I did pass by the tiger exhibit while I was there and got this shot of a male Sumatran tiger.

All wrong #1 Shooting into the light.
All wrong #2 No fill flash.
All wrong #3 Shooting through a fence.

All right #1 The final image.
Considering all the wrongs, I think the final image turned out pretty good. What do you think?

Some times you just have to shoot and to heck with the rules. If you don't shoot it you don't get it. Great shot!

Can you imagine what it would be like to live in that cabin?

Maybe just a little too rustic.

You may be right, but there is not a whole lot of places that one could call lever up there. Thanks for the comment.

Shot while on a recent trip to Durango, CO. I was on a day trip with my photo buddy just looking for something to photograph.
