Thank you HFC, and my day has been wonderful. An advantage, when you get older, is that you get to have the whole cake to yourself with the kids all gone and your spouse on a perpetual diet. You speak of "age" with the authority of experience and yet you don't seem to fit the description. But, as to your assertion that I "look great," while I am extremely flattered, once again, you are aware that the eyes are the first thing to go, right? LOL!

hi you all! I've been enjoying your pics and commentaries. I recently was on a gig down in SouthTexas near Laredo. The land owner wanted me there shooting the activity of a gas line going in on their 80(k) ranch. She's a biologist herself and was concerned about the endangered species "Frankenia" found on her property that might be disturbed with the pipeline going in. I had a blast shooting the workers and being part of an outdoor job. I don't think I'll ever be able to sit behind a desk again. When not shooting on location I drove around the property and found many artifacts and clues it was a heavily trafficked area for illegals making their way to the promise land. This pic probably doesn't hold a candle to the awesome ones I have seen but thought a good time for me to jump in and introduce myself. The novice, photographer want to be.
