Depends on your machine....cant comment on windows but I know from experience that both these will screw your mac up...as will any anti virus programme
I use lightroom to edit but dont keep any photos in it...after editing I move them to Photos on the mac and rename them within an album...with a date if necessary... Much better for looking at photos post edit because the viewable screen is larger.
The world is full of experts.......
You cant really go wrong with the sony....it does everything well. The only downside Ive come across is that you cant zoom in and out and maintain focus if your focusing on fast moving objects unlike on a DSLR. You can find away around that though by using a slightly different technique. You should aim to keep ISO at upto 1600 which for the most part is easily doable except in really low light when moving subjects are involved.
The black and white photo was taken on the hoof at 600mm.
Thanks for all the nice comments...much appreciated.
Hi....Thanks for the comments....I dont have the coordinates to hand but theyre easily accessed fron google. We used the postcode IV51 9LB......its about 10 miles out of portree travelling north on the main A road. The postcode will actually take you past the turn off for the car park....when you hit a tiny little village called Staffin(I think) on the main road you take a left down a single file narrow road. Look out for a red postbox. The car park is a 2 mile drive up the winding single file road.
The Quairang is a walking route around a mountainous region on the Isle of Skye in Scotland.
We gave up halfway due to it blowing a gale along with some very steep drops.
Still....it was definitely worth it...the views were stunning
