Around here, you would have seen a Marmot or two, poking their heads out from between the rocks! (We call them Rock Chucks)
Send it our way! We need it, and more importantly, to me, I love it! We had 4 feet of snow and then, it rained for 2 days, with temps suddenly in the high 40's. ERGO: No more snow.

HELLO EVERYBODY. I KNOW I MOSTLY POST BIRDS. I AM CONFINED TO A WHEELCHAIR SO THERE ISNâT A LOT OF SUBJECTS FOR ME TO SHOOT. I SHOOT THROUGH A WINDOW SO MY PICTURES ARENâT THAT GOOD. IâM JUST TRYING TO KEEP MY MIND ACTIVE
Heh..Your 'shooting through a window' is far better than most of my shots, outside!
You just continue 'keeping your mind active' and share with us, your efforts. They are most pleasing!
You have nothing to make excuses about!!
Here is a clear day shot from Cape Lookout, looking North towards Netarts (At 1 o'clock) and Tillamook just over the hills at 2 o'clock. (Behind the tree!)
(The 'speck' on the beach, lower left center, is a person on the beach! Hard to tell the height perspective from the shooting location!)
The four rocks off to the left of the distant point, are all named, but I only remember 2 of them, Seal and Shag Rock.
Shot with an old, (New then!) Sony Digital Mavica MVC-FD7camera! Not too shabby a digital camera for its day, not even a megpixel camera, only 750k, if memory serves!

Really cool. I can't imagine carrying a kid through all that!
I have a dumb question: Cliff climbers have a rope that somehow gets attached to something at the top. How does it get attached? It would seem that someone gets the job of climbing up sans rope to attach the rope, right? I'd hate to be that guy!
Many climbers on those cliffs are 'free-climbers'. No way would I do that, but......
Did a lot of hiking in that area when my wife and I were much younger. Backpacked with our oldest son when he was only a year old through those slot canyons. Don't remember the name of the creek, or if it even had an official name. Locals I knew back then, just called it Falls Creek. If memory serves, there is/was a nice pool under the falls where we shucked our clothes and took a refreshing dip. Other hikers did the same.
Thanks for jarring my memory of that beautiful area!

Chase lighthouses!
Cape Perpetua lighthouse and keeper's home. On a slightly hazy day.
Everywhere!
If you get to Pacific City, find out what time the dory fleet departs and photograph it.
There are many areas to pull off the road and shoot scenics!
You can use this as a rough guide for the more common tourist spots.
https://localadventurer.com/ultimate-oregon-coast-road-trip/#northcoastMany of the really spectacular coastal areas make great photographic opportunities, but if you are lucky enough to see them on a hazy or foggy day, those photographs now become WOW!!

Very nice. Every day, I give thanks that I never got interested in drones. I'd have a dozen by now, with many more lost or damaged.
Like camera lenses, you can never have too many! (I have 8, each one for specific purposes, like chasing the cats, entertaining the neighborhood children, giving the wife something to complain about. [Other than my radios and garage full of goodies for my car!] )

A perspective that we could not otherwise see. Nicely done!
I love flying drones, for that very reason!
I just noticed something.....You are flying in what appears to be a soccer field, right next to a heliport. That would be a no-no here in the States. Australia has no rules about flying so close to a controlled air space? (Hospital, emergency, and police heliports, are considered controlled airspace and flying near them is a BIG NO-NO here.)

Phantom 4 Pro+
Ah...very nice. I am leaning towards it from the Mavic. I like the portability of the Mavic, but don't like how its object avoidance (O.A.) works. The 4 Pro's O.A. will back the drone up and find away around the object, and continue on. The Mavic will sense the object, back up a few feet and then hover in place, waiting for command intervention.
Any who....
Thanks for the share. Enjoyed the three images immensely!
If you have any vids (Right, like you don't have any! HEH!) Perhaps you could share some, perhaps in another topic section of the the Hog. I would love looking at them. (Currently I fly the 3DR SOLO, but with no further enhancements coming, it is no longer of any value to me, hence looking at the Mavic or the 4 Pro!)

I sometimes fly my drone from a sports field at the back of my place. I took these shots of the rear of the hospital while I was landing. Downloading is recommended.
What drone are you flying?
