Very well done. I see a hint of Art Deco.

Thank you L-Fox. You are correct. I love deco and there is a hint of deco in everything I attempt to create.

I agree with srt101fan. The figure looks more puzzled or intrigued than lonely. Personal perception. However, I adore the image as-is, with no reference to Hopper. The lines and use of light are wonderful, and your creativity - as always - is so far off the charts, I can't express how impressed I am

Thank you so much for the compliment Linda. You're very generous with your praise. My personal perspective is that being alone in a given situation could make a person feel lonely without the additional emotion of sadness or feeling forlorn.

Thank you very much Veronica. I'm glad you liked it. The figure may be wondering which cube to enter.

Very impressive graphic construction of a "mood" setting. A minor issue for me: Is there a better way to position the figure to reinforce the loneliness theme? I don't mean the location of the man within the image, but the physical posture. Great job!

Thank you and I will consider your suggestion. The figure of the person was really the hardest detail for me to digitally create.

These are a lot of fun Linda. For me your double d's look like musical eighth notes so if you have a music challenge you can go right back to them.

I really like the soft liquid like look you have achieved here Veronica. My only nit is your signature. While you have a lovey name, I think it's size and shape harm the image.

I really like the result here. Lovely pastels and with great soft cubic shapes. If it was mine I would consider cloning out the round thing in the left center portion of the image. It's shape goes against the rest of the fine cubic style image.

Excellent work Linda. I have never tried to do "theme based" photography. Looks like fun. Love how you processed the slide and great job finding the "M's.

A terrific result with a very impressionistic look. Nicely done.

This is my minimalistic attempt at channeling Edward Hopper and his "lonely people" paintings. I put the cube city together and then tried to figure out what to do with it. I came up with a number of different versions of the scene but this is the one I liked the most. Where is the light coming from? Apparently everywhere. As with my last offerings, this image was made from scratch in Adobe Photoshop starting with a blank white file. I used the line, shape and fill tools along with gradients and opacity sliders to construct this image. Thanks for taking a look and leaving me your thoughts if you are so inclined. Chris

Great original image and processing. An ice cream cone to die for, apparently. I wouldn't have noticed anything amiss in the image if you hadn't suggested a closer look. But I think I see what you have done here.

When I mentioned Wall Poster... think about it, the Seniors in the world would love it... I speak as one!!!
The colors are so wonderful and the curvature of the towers in the background so real in a fantasy world.

You are very kind Don. As a teenager during the "summer of love" and the 60's rock scene I have always admired the old posters from the Fillmore and promoter Bill Graham's concerts. If I could approach that kind of artistry I might consider your suggestion. Until that time I will have to be happy posting images here and hoping to get nice feedback like yours. Thanks again.

Love the post processing work Don. But if not for the vine I might have thought they were oranges.

These are superb and not a single live person in any shot. That's not easy to pull off in a popular park like Arches.

Classic image of a classic... a wonderful combo of colors shapes and .... great wall poster.

Thanks a lot Don. I considered parking my Cadillac in the scene somewhere but it was stuck in the mud outside the old barn.
