I think your flower is a relative with the common name of Knapweed. There are a lot of relatives of Cornflower or Bachelor's button.

Thankfully, dropping a camera is one thing I have never done. I have always had a neck strap and had that around my neck or across my shoulder. When walking I usually have the camera hanging over my right shoulder with the camera on my right hip. I have also never had anyone try to grab the camera and run, even in Germany. If you cannot find a camera repair facility open you must live in a blue state. Then you have a problem.

Unfortunately that does not prevent you tripping on the sidewalk like I did once. Like a true photographer, I checked out the camera before I got up.

I used to live in a house near Harbor Jr. College in Wilmington. It is located next to what used to be called Bixby Slough, now called Harbor Lake after improvements. I would walk from home to the college for classes. The street I would walk down went along a part of the slough where Red Wing Blackbirds nested. In spring, they would swoop down on me. They would also do the same to my cats who were at least a block from any place that nests might be.

I have to be very careful as I wake up.
Often I discover that our seven-month old kitten has inserted herself between my arms as I slept.

That's better than what my Siamese used to do. He would gradually move my head over and take over the pillow!!

Have you considered taking him along with you when riding the other horse? Or is his limitation more than just someone on him?

Photoshop Elements is a good all around program at a reasonable price. There is a good organizer. You get 3 tabs that offer guided or advanced or regular editing. If you shoot raw your photo automatically starts in a basic version of Adobe camera raw which gives sliders for basics like exposure, contrast, saturation, and so on. If you shoot jpeg you can also start with Adobe camera raw, but there is no benefit to using it at that point.

They have a free trial, be worth a look. If you switch to photoshop in the future you can import your elements catalog easily.

Basically agree. I have yet to exhaust it's capabilities after over 10 years of using it. You don't need to update it every new version. I have yet to update from 15.

I've never found a need for Lightroom, only use PSE's organizer. Agree with Linda from Maine.

I think this is your wildflower:
Collinsia parviflora is a species of flowering plant in the Plantaginaceae known by the common names maiden blue eyed Mary and small-flowered collinsia. This tiny wildflower is a common plant throughout much of western and northern North America, where it grows in moist, shady mountain forests. This is an annual plant with a spindly reddish stem and narrow lance-shaped green leaves with edges that curl under. The minuscule flowers grow singly or in loose clusters of several. Each flower has five lobes, the lower deep blue to purple and the upper white. The whole corolla is only a few millimeters across.

Elements has most of the edits needed to get that end result. The original criticism was an opinion, nothing more.

I was checking that out and found that my impression that there was an age limit was now incorrect. As long as you are healthy and not taking certain medications you can give blood at any age. I was disqualified because I take a blood thinner. However, anyone who thinks that they are too old can. Check out the limits online.

If you want to make it, craft web sites will have options, hooked, woven, pile etc. If you want it finished, home decoration sites should have options also..

How did Sam know about the waitress?
Russ never mentioned a coffee shop either. And if Sam knew about the coffee shop and the waitress why didn’t he go look for Russ at the coffee shop if he was so concerned for his welfare?
I’m sorry but this story doesn’t hold water.

You are expecting logic from a joke? Waste of time, but then again we all have LOTS of time with the pandemic.
