"Ferguss" is a bit "redder" so something happened on the resize. Oh well.

Wife came in with "Ferguss" from his near daily riding/training session. He is a goofy fellow when it comes to getting a bath. Makes faces. 19 hands or so and my wife is short. Makes for humorous shots.
Summer monsoons building up in the background.
I've always shot full frame and am very surprised at what this Sony is putting out. No chromatics. Minimal noise.
Enjoy.

I had a visitor from California come to West Virginia last month who is an avid photographer (digital) and so we went out to a local state park here in WV.

I loaned him one of my Trip 35's (which he loved so much he bought from me before he left!) and we shot some black and white (Eastman Double-X)

Here are 3 shots that I printed for my cork-board at work; one of him shooting the trip, one of a blacksmith's cabin, and one of a cemetery (taken from the car window without looking through the viewfinder) I also tossed in a scan of the contact sheet just for fun.

All 3 shot on a Trip 35, Double-X, dev'd in D96 stock time and temp.

These are scans of the prints.

I don't think my spouse understands that I need one tripod for with a gimbal for my big lens, one tripod for my macro rail, and one with my skytracker all by the door. I also don't think they will understand that I still need another tripod with a simple ball mount just for all other needs. What should I do?

Buy what you want, just remember what's good for the gander goes for the hen also ,

No, I slowly accumulated over last 10 years or so. I am now over 70 and have a harder time lugging everything with me. I do a lot of PP so I want to stay with interchangeable lens system. Thanks for your suggestion.

I have searched UHH web-site for old communications about Fujifilm cameras and lenses but did not find what I was looking for.
I will be going to Yellowstone next month and am considering buying a lighter and more compact mirrorless camera system for my trip. I am considering a budget of ~$2500.00.
I already own a Nikon D750 & D5000 with multiple zoom and prime lenses (10-24mm, 24-120mm, 28-300mm, 150-600mm, 18-200mm, 20mm, 50mm, 105mm and the kit lenses that came with D5000). I think I am tempted towards Fujifilm X-T20 since it has most of the features I am looking for, but I am not sure what lenses to buy. I would like to keep it within my budget, prefer lighter and compact lenses that would be good for landscape, wild life, portrait, street photography and cover wide range from tele to wide angle. I prefer not to constantly change lenses during a trek. Any suggestions on bundled kits or separate list in order of priority that someone who already owns or has past experience with fujifilm cameras may be able to shed.
Thanks for your time and input.

Any one with two camera as you say you have ,and the lenses you say you have , it should be no problem for you to pick a camera ,is that the way you also picked what you have now . Any way for $2500 to blow go and get the small Sony full frame with a fixed lens on it ,it may have interchangeable lenses ,can't remember ,but that is all you need to pack ,

In my younger days (much!) I put an FM radio station on the air and was one of the announcers as well. I (we, the station) got in so much trouble for playing 2 songs by Dr. Hook, that are nothing today, but back then...Oh Boy!!

They were "Don't Give A Dose To The One You Love The Most" and "Hey Lady Godiva".

I gotta say one thing about Hook and the Medicine Show, they sure threw 1 hell of a post show party. (One of the perks of MC'ing concerts was we got invited to the parties!)

Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show, from Sloppy Seconds. Great album! Many of their songs were penned by the great (sic) Shel Silverstein. I had the pleasure of MC'ing one of their concerts, many years ago!

Sitting outside on my patio, sweet light time, had my D7000 +70-300mm f4-5.6 on one chair, OM-D + 45mm f1.8 (90mm FF EFV) on the other chair, and working on an email. Suddenly I hear subtle sounds, and sensed big movement out of the corner of my eye. On the fence to the south in my yard, A Red Tailed Hawk, just missed one of those little birds that come here this time of day to drink from the fountain. WOA! Predator alert! Wow he’s big! I reached out and grabbed the D7000 camera OUTCH outch outch ... recent stitches, hurt!! Art requires sacrifice. I mashed the back FOCUS button and literally fired a shot as I was raising it to my eye. Then he flew. GONE. I looked at the shot and I am not thrilled with the result. I was woefully ignorant of the situation. I could have gotten a good shot had I been paying attention. BAD photographer. BAD BAD photographer.
