The indigo bunting is a small bird, with a length of 11.5-13 cm (4.5-“5.1 in). It displays sexual dimorphism in its coloration; the male is a vibrant blue in the summer and a brown color during the winter months, while the female is brown year-round. The male displays brightly colored plumage during the breeding season to attract a mate. Nest-building and incubation are done solely by the female. The diet of the indigo bunting consists primarily of insects during the summer months and seeds during the winter months.

Hi again Folks, well it sounds like many of you want to see more so I've decided to start out with a few shots taken through the front window a few miles out. We came in on highway 26 from Riverton Wy. I was shooting scenery all along the way. For those who've never been to the Grand Tetons, your excitement and anticipation grows by bounds when you first get a glimpse of them as recorded in these arrival images. I was thinking about this on Memorial Day, but here it is now.

We spend trillions on the military, and most of it goes to big corporations. Meanwhile, veterans come back from war messed up physically and mentally, living on the street and begging for money. Veterans, whether they have gone to war or not, should be in better shape when they leave the military than when they entered. WW II vets had the GI Bill, and my father used that to go to TV/radio school. Today's vets struggle to get basic medical treatment. When you send thousands of volunteers to get shot and bombed, you have to take some responsibility for them when they return. Saying you can't afford to take care of them is not acceptable. People running munitions companies are multimillionaires, yet the real military people are often damaged and discarded.
