I did a search and didn't find what I was hoping to hear. I am seeing and hearing that a tablet is a must have. I read about photogs that keep one in the camera bag.... and so on. So I did some reading and some more reading and ended up picking a Samsung note 8. I got it home, started messing around and had to ask myself "why did I get this and why is this better than" ??I can't seem to find one with sd card input or usb. I asked and was told I could load photos from a cloud. What is the point of having one if you can't get photos without using a laptop. Would love to hear from those that do use a tablet and find out why, what, how. Can you upload photos........ thanks in advance. I took the Samsung back and would like to hear from those that do use one and why ???

The term 'tablet' means to me a Wacom Tablet; which is an input device used rather than a mouse.
I think the comments you read were referring to such a tablet.

I just recently got back into photography and was told when purchasing filters (ex. CPL UV ND), that the amount of money you pay is the quality and performance you get from your filter. In other words the more you pay, the better the better the filter.
I need feedback on what's the better filter to invest my money in and which ones should I stay away from....
Thanks!

I purchased a 52mm IR720 filter for infra-red shooting; about $12.00 direct from China. Worked fine; probably no better than a $200.00 one from a prestigious vendor.
In fact the only photo I have displayed on this forum was from using this filter. For some strange reason management moved the photo to some other area of the forum.

I'm doing a lot of adult type shoots in the coming weeks. Any ideas on where to sell them? I do know of exgfcontent and adultcontent.nl.

There will be various genres and I will absolutely be having a model release and ID for the legitimate paperwork.

"adult type shoots" is that your term for pornography?
I hate to think all adults are moral degenerates.

i am wanting to get a 2X converter to use with an old 500mm f4.5 SMC manual focus lens. it will be used on my K5 and hopefully in the near future a K3. would i be better off with a manual focus converter or a newer one that would also work with my DA* lenses ? any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.

One advantage of a 2x converters not mentioned by those rich guys is that they can be purchased used much cheaper then the 1.4x converter.
I have purchased 4 of them in the past (removed the lenses from one to make an extension tube) and they work
quite well with my manual focus lenses on my Pentaxs.
I strive for perfection, haven't reached it yet.

My older Wacom Art Pad II tablet (bought when Windows 95 was new) is a plain gray. Still works.

Good DIY, one question, would it not have been better if you had made easily removable/retractable as this will stick out all the time?

Another one, not related to your project...

What is the casing around what appears to be your tablet? Never saw that before.

Where I have the workstation located there is no problem sticking out always. Can remove by unscrewing two wing nuts.
That is my Wacom CTE-440 tablet, nothing added.

I just purchased this lens for my D5100 & didn't realize I had to focus manually.Could someone please tell me what do I need if I want to purchase a 50mm lens. When I went to do a search I only got more confused. Am I correct that I need a AF-S because my camera doesn't have a motor & the AF-S lenses do? Do I need a 1.8 or a 1.4???? Thanks so much for your help.

Why do you think you cannot use the lens recently purchased?
I know nothing about the D5100 camera is it only auto focusing?
Can't you set the camera to manual focus and use the lens?

Because my Wacom tablet set at the edge of my work station there was no support for my arm.
This simple addition improved the situation.

A~M~E~N to Adobe SCREWING UP the Print Program. As previously mentioned I actually allowed one of the Adobe Techs access to my Computer so he could see what I was talking about.
Eventually he said we GOOFED, and will correct that in the future, but to date they've not done so! *&%^%^%%#!

By the way how long of an Exposure can you Hand~Hold as pictured in your Profile Picture?

With my severe hand tremor I have to use my Speed Graphic on a tripod exclusively. Tripod for my Rollie also.
My Pentax SLR or DSLR, I try to stay above 1/125.

More on the print problem: Lightroom has the same halfast
system as the newer Photohop Elements.

I have a Epson Artisan 710. To anyone who might have the same printer and installed a CISS system, my question is, do you have to make any modifications to it if you install a CISS system?

Thanks for any answers.

I have an Epson WorkForce 30 that I purchased with CIS fully installed; works great.
Contact Cobra Ink Service.com for full information, Epson only.

My school has a few of these enlargers and someone turned the yellow handle that locks down the negative cartridge and broke the handle. I have tried the "big stores" with no luck.If anyone has this enlarger and is parting it out, I would buy both handles if possible. If you know of where I could find the part, please respond!
Thanks, Frank

Can't you make up something that will work?
I used repair the photo gear for the Community College and had to fabricate any necessary parts because they had no money.
