I'm in your corner FrankR. I'm a retired govt. employee(letter carrier) with 30 yrs. service. The only Republican "friends" we had in Congress were Peter King and Steven LaTourette(R.I.P.). We survived and fought all the reduction-in-service bills that Darryl Issa and friends tried to push thru Congress. The USPS is a self-supporting govt. service that does not cost the U.S. taxpayer a dime. The sole revenue source is postage fees, and in spite of handling 40% of the world's mail volume, our nation's postal rates are very low in a global comparison. We always knew which party was really on the blue-collar workers' side. Pardon my long-windedness, but you Republicans have Obama to thank for saving U.S. auto industry and avoiding collapse of global financial markets. (W. and Hank Paulson are two Reps. who deserve kudos for TARP fund program. Be careful what you wish for when voteing.

Gorgeous lighting contrast!

Being a more experienced birder than photographer, my reference books seem to indicate a palm warbler from the brown (western) population in its non-breeding plumage. Yellow undertail coverts and half-prominant eye ring seem like good tip-offs. It's a nicely captured pose.

Can some of you offer me any info about experiences with this online site? Do their low prices reflect "grey market" camera offerings?
