A very good replacement would be Canon Pixma MX922. But.....you can more the likely fix the issue, it sounds like the bottom rollers need to be cleaned. If you don't have current drivers for your unit, download from Canon, it's free. Go to the maintenance screens and run the correction or corrections. Might cost some ink but fairly certain it will correct the issue.
Yo dude, I ain't gonna take none a them tests when I know my stuff.....:)
Get a can of compressed air(Best Buy). The air and a sewing needle or pin should do it....Bob
Hi,
I have been using Tele-converters for 40 some odd years. I can't speak for Nikon but I use a Rokkor 2X converter on both my Minolta film camera as well as my Canon T6s. I purchased Canon to Minolta adapter. You are correct in that the electronics are not there, although, what I have done is to become adept at manual focusing. I use A Rokkor 58mm. 1.4 with the 2x and The Minolta to Canon adaper. I also have used in this same configuration, a Canon EF-S 18-200mm 3.5-5.6 . I also use this setup with my Rokkor 200mm, f3.5. Yeah it would be great if the electronic connections were there.

Its been a while since I last posted. My interests are evolving to include City Scapes, Macro and Close-ups. A few for you to peruse...:)
All your input was great. I need to do some heavy duty reading. More photos will follow. Again, thank you for all the advice. Bob
The first Pic is one of a piece of linen rag. The last photo is one of a shadow of a ice cream pop stick.
