is a Pentax-specific discussion forum that also has reviews of Pentax-related equipment, both Pentax and 3rd-party, including most every K-mount lens ever made.

I have had various Fuji X cams for the past 3-4 years. There is a learning curve to settings and post processing. I recommend joining the Fuji Forum and spending time to learn all the nuances.....you will be well rewarded.

Have you tried using the Radial Filter? It allows you to select the area you wish to focus on and change exposure on the surrounding area....

I was in Honolulu last week and saw a professional on his way to a wedding and saw his new bag, a Vanguard 38, very spacious and not too bulky, went to B&H and have filled it with D800, 70-200 2.8, 14-24 2.8, 28-70 2.8, x2 multiplier, 50 1.4, SB910, numerous filters, batteries, Chargers etc and I still have some room
Anyone else tried these?

Most credit cards add a year of warranty when you use the card for a purchase. If you use PP, I believe you would not get that extra year..........also, if you try to cancel an order you paid for with PP, it is a nightmare.

32 pages of arguing apples and oranges.......all it did was demonstrate many people, including the OP, don't even understand the difference between raw and jpeg.....as was said many times in the 32 pages, you can't print a raw image....end of story.

I keep all my catalogs on an external hard drive, with the file names describing what the images are (red mushrooms, squirrel on bird feeder, Jones wedding, kids at Yeats Park, etc). No catalogs or image files are stored on my computer's hard drive.

Can you find the red mushrooms in the pic taken at Yeats park on the Jones wedding day in your files? :)

Just kidding, but LRs keyword approach would give you the same benefit if set up appropriately. Admittedly, to go back and keyword all your images today would probably be an insurmountable task...

It seems there are a number of folks here who would go to extraordinary lengths to avoid using LR the way it is intended. LR has great power if you accept it for what it is and use it as it was designed.

This seems especially true because anybody who can figure out how to open LR in this manner has already paid for the LR license.

I have seem a computer program out there that you just drag and drop the pictures you want into the already created background. The program puts them into what ever background you have pre selected from their menu. I was told once what the name of the program was but never wrote it down. Im looking for that program or one almost like it. Thank you for your kind offer.

There are programs that do that, but you need to learn how to use them. That learning takes some time.

Even if you found it on ebay or Craigslist, what would you do then?

Sorry, but I'd just consider it gone.

I believe you can have a rider to your home owners insurance where you specifically list the extra things (like cameras or jewelry) and then you'd be covered.

A wedding photog will expect top quality, not just slap-dash work. I would think $35/hr until you both figure things out.........

We still don't know where you are.........I'd say a simple hourly rate until you both understand (and agree on) his expectations as to deliverable results.

Welcome Jim!
I doubt those lenses will be usable on a digital body.

Also, why do you assume you want a DSLR?

You should look at the mirrorless cameras before automatically going for DSLR IMHO
