Brilliant color and clarity!

I’m not really drawn to flowers as a subject matter, but your images are “hands down”
some of the best I’ve seen of the genre. Keep up the good work and continue
to provide inspiration for other UHH floral photographers.

Well done!

Olympus Pen F (Silver Body) purchased in February 2016 as a backup camera on our cruise to Europe. 354 clicks on the shutter. I bought it because it was smaller than my Canon 5D Mark III,
but because of my specialty lenses for the Canon, I find that I'm just not using it very much. It comes with the Zuiko 12-40 f2.8 Pro zoom and the Olympus hand grip with the Swiss Arca tripod
grooves in the base. I have all the boxes and manuals. Comes with battery, charger, straps, flash, flash case, SDHC memory card, caps, lens hood. Over $2,300 invested. Also included is a
Rugged 36 camera bag (new, never opened). Olympus Pen F is in "as new" condition. You won't be disappointed. Save yourself $600, $1,700 OBO.

I'm with you. Why do people go to a PHOTOGRAPHY website to share their
political views, jokes or observations on things that have NOTHING to do
with photography?

Everybody is entitled to his or her's opinion, but why use a photography
forum unless it has to do with photography?

Another one you see is when actors are "driving", they're allegedly going straight ahead, but they're moving
the steering wheel left to right and right to left. I guess if they didn't move the wheel, you'd assume they're
not actually driving.

Yet another is when you see people using a computer on TV. They never use a "mouse". They obviously know ALL
the menus and they just type in all the commands they need......yeah, right!

Here's a few others that TV people haven't changed over the years.

When someone takes a picture with a 35mm camera (whether it's digital or film camera), you always hear that
same cornball, motor-drive sound effect. Most of the time, the cameras in the shot don't even have a motor drive!

Another one I find humorous is the "looking through binoculars" gag where the screen is black with two holes
punched through the center. When you use an optic like binoculars, it doesn't look like that at all!

Why do all night scenes in an urban environment have to have wet streets? Yes, I know they pick up the reflections
of the lights, but it seems cliche to use that when it has nothing to with the storyline.

In Las Vegas, the best camera store is B&C Camera on Sahara Boulevard. They can do
sensor cleanings and have all the major brands and accessories to investigate while
your camera is being cleaned.

Hello Friends, I am considering purchasing the Canon 24-105 l lens. My question is would this lens benefit me over my current lenses for mainly portrait and basic walk around lens. I am using a canon 70d and Canon 60d. My main two lenses I use now are the Canon 17-85 IS 3.5 non L lens and the 70-200 IS 11 2.8 L lens.

I am a Canon user (5D Mark III), and I have 4 Canon L lenses. If I was
looking for that specific focal length in a "walk around" lens, I would
strongly consider the Sigma 24-105 Art lens over the Canon's version.
Sigma has really "upped their game" in lens design and provide excellent
value and very high quality in their fit and finish in lens construction.

Thank you for educating the numerous posters who can't spell or are
too lazy to proof read their questions (or answers). Frankly, I find it embarrassing to see adults spell like cellphone infatuated teenagers.

Donna,

I recently did a portrait session for one of my friend's granddaughter. She asked for several 5x7 and 8x10 prints when all was said and done. What I did was size the image to a 5x7
proportion and created a mat in Photoshop that fit in an 8x10 frame size. This way, she could use it either way, with or without the "mat".
By creating the mat in Photoshop, I could assign any color to it, create any texture, add a drop shadow (for depth) and it all is part of a single print from my Canon Pixma printer. It's just
one more option if your sticking to standard frame sizes.
