I am indeed on the Hog but NOT on the forum specializing in banality and mutual praise of each others pictures among a chosen few who inhabit that rather sad place. Perhaps you can bring yourself to heap admiration upon second rate offerings but personally I struggle with that particular concept.

And no I have not heard you use the term soul or indeed express thoughts about any feelings but that's understandable when you seem to specialize in mushrooms and seaweed all presented in an identical manner. Does not of course stop you posting this technically sound dross and rolling on your back to get your belly tickled as the possibly undeserved praise rolls in from the buddie club you belong to. Should anyone dare to have a doubt about the validity of these rather drab and boring images you ban them from commenting on your pictures thereby ensuring you only get messages that boost your little ego.

I am basically a worry free zone my friend so what makes you think I would be at all concerned? I am curious about this gloria that is all. If nothing else it brings some humor to the banality known as FYC, unless of course you like your pictures draped in textures and deep totally meaningless conversations about your "feelings" as you pressed the shutter. Oh and mutual praise dished out for what would be laughed at on other sites.

I have been looking for the cause of the malaise one feels when visiting the For Your Consideration forum on the Hog and this Samuel Johnson quote hits the nail perfectly on the head when applied to the management and leading members there.

We are in Admins playground he charges no entry fee so who really can complain? He is no jerk my friend. He is quite bright in that he runs this exactly as he wishes. People like Apaflo and other moderators do all the work for him by running forums, cos it possibly gives them a feeling of power they do not have in real life. They do this for free whilst Admin rakes in the advertising revenue. The dumb ones are the forum moderators and to be honest I just wish I had found a way to get a bunch of dummies to toil away for free and make me money. Go to For Your Consideration and you will find a back slapping fest cos its two years old. Just means the moderators there has worked for two solid years put up with hassle and all sorts of crap to pay Admins car payments.
You will not get banned its water off a ducks back. I'm sure he has been called far worse
