Yuck! I guess he's never looked down to see the wet floor. Unless PA is a lot cleaner then the sewer of a state that I live in! I'm always amazed at the how many guys are wandering around here with their shoelaces dangling on the floor.

Great photo, it does look like he's posing for you and getting ready to fly through out screens!

Yes, a great shot and it would have been a pleasant surprise for me, because I never would've seen that other eye through the viewfinder.

I have a Nikon D850 and several lenses including the superb 400 prime and 70-200, the 35mm and the 28-300. Since changing lenses in several conditions is not possible or even safe, I’m looking for advice on which second camera to buy (preferably mirrorless) that can fit all my Nikon glass and still Autofocus well. Thanks in advance.

I suggest you get a D500. I had mine for 2 years before getting a D850. They are so much alike, you don't have to think about which camera you're shooting with.

I don't know if it will happen, or when, but I have asked for my posts to be removed from this site. Regardless, I will no longer contribute. This place brings out the worst in me and frankly life is too short to let a few people get under my skin.

I'm sorry you're leaving, I've always appreciated your posts. Good luck with the new camera and enjoy the upcoming family trips you mentioned!

They're all great, but like others said the last one is my favorite. Thanks for sharing them!

Well... I did it, I ordered the G85, a second spare battery (it comes with a spare), and a lens adapter for experimentation with my Nikon glass. It took a sizeable chunk out of my PayPal, fun-money account, but I think it is going to be money well spent. Other than a couple of inexpensive point and shoot digital cameras purchased over the last 15 years i've never purchased a "good" camera new. This should be interesting.

It sounds like you made a great choice! Please post some photos and your thoughts about your new equipment after you have a chance to enjoy using it on your multiple vacations. I'm thinking about doing the same thing for travel. Enjoy travel with your family and your new camera!

Hi everyone. I have a Nikon D500 and for some reason I don’t have a clue about, I am seeing a rectangle line in my composer view that says 1x3 in the top right corner. Never there before. What does it mean? How do I get rid of this? I am traveling and rather nervous about what It is and how it got there. Thank you all.

Thank you for identifying the Gibbon. I should have looked it up - Got lazy. Thanks again.

No problem, I was just curious and started looking at images of primates on Google. Then I woke up and thought of the Memphis Zoo website, and there he was on the top corner of the Primate Canyon page!

You got some great photos, thanks for posting them. Now that my kids are grown and I've got grandkids, I'm starting to revisit zoos after years away from them. A great place for photo ops!

Yes, my Oops is a leopard. Thanks for the correction. My first mistake this month; I also have some land for sale about 400 yards due South of Key West, Florida.

Tree Frog on my wall!

I'm glad it's around your house and not mine. Our cat loves to bring whatever he catches in through the dog door. It's hard enough catching a lizard. I don't think we could keep up with a frog!
