The potential charge of TREASON should NOT be plead out, trump should stand trial and serve jail time for the charge of treason!

The Watergate investigation proved that a sitting president can be indicted.

trump made the choice to work for Putin instead of his own country.

There are 5 trump family members that are facing Federal Criminal Charges, Don Sr., Don Jr., Ivanka, Eric and Jared face charges for Self Dealing, Tax Evasion, Lying to Congress, and daddy is facing charges of Obstruction of Justice, failing to register as a Foreign Agent, and Treason.

Those GOP members in Congress from 2017 on, who covered up trump's crimes by refusing to investigate him should also be charged with Obstruction of Justice! They were complicit in a major cover-up of trump's TREASON!

As Americans, we can no longer ignore the evidence that has come to light through the release of court documents, or through in depth investigate reporting. This is no longer fake news as trump and his base choose to label it!

It's been 238 years and 4 months since Benedict Arnold was discovered to be a traitor, when he chose to turn his back on his country and work for our enemy at the time, England.

I don’t disagree with anything you say except this:

“The Watergate investigation proved that a sitting president can be indicted.”

Watergate didn’t prove that, and it is still an open question.

However, if Trump is indicted, I would be ecstatic!

It has been extremely clear for two years and more, that something smelly is going on between Trump and Putin. During the campaigns and after there were 20 or 30 secret meetings variously around the world in secret, then found out, then finally admitted, between representatives of Russia and of Trump. Furthermore, Trump advocates everything that Putin dreams of and lusts for.

Russia has taken over the USA, at least in foreign policy (which is all Putin cares about) in a sort of revolution by election!

We are living through an administration of unparalleled corruption, incompetence, dishonesty, lies and bullshit!

Do I remember that Traitors are sometimes hanged, or is that only a fervent wish?

May the Fates preserve us, though if they don’t it will be our own damned fault!

“If you read that Fox News article, you will learn” absolutely nothing.

Because the situation seems quite clear to those of us not affected by the Trump Alternative Reality. Why do Russians and pro-Russian Ukranians keep popping up? Why does Trump announce things like email hacking and dirt on Clinton before these events become known? How did Russian trolls know where to focus their efforts in the election? Why does Trump cozy up to Putin and put down our allies?

On and on it goes. Suspicious minds want to know!

One doesn’t have to be in the FBI to know something smelly is going on between Trump and Putin.

I’m satisfied in my own mind that he’s sold out the nation, and takes orders from Putin. Perhaps it blackmail about business, perhaps about sex. Probably it’s about both!

If a sitting president can’t be indicted, what will the FBI do? I suppose they might present their finding to Congress for an impeachment. I rather expect there will be a quiet meeting between members of congress and trump leading to a negotiated deal for his resignation coupled with his pleading guilty to a single charge. This, I expect, will be to keep his daughter out of jail as well as himself, naturally.

What does this mean for the Republican Party which showed such loyalty?

It’s got to be a big blow and lots and lots of lies from Republicans.

The mills of the Gods grind slowly....

This is a pretty stupid post, I know it is supposed to be funny, but it says more about the poster than about Nancy. She is the first Speaker in 60 years to serve two terms as speaker, that is regain the position after a party change, and she is the first woman’s to ever do so.

She knows exactly what is going on in the House and, as Trump is finding out, she is no pushover.

It would be a very dumb person who underestimated her.

What part of the Constitution do the democrats not understand?

U.S. Constitution - Article 4 Section 4
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.

Looks pretty clear and unambiguous, though way beyond the comprehension of any democrat as they hate America and the Constitution and all it stands for.

U.S. Constitution - Article 3 Section 3
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.

This is what the democrats are doing on our southern border. Again is quite clear and unambiguous. Foreign invaders meaning harm to this nation in ANY form shall be repelled and those giving aid to the invaders AKA democrats) are guilty of treason.
What part of the Constitution do the democrats not... (show quote)

This is an absolutely stupid post. We are NOT being invaded, and there is no crisis at the southern border.

AND the treason article applies to our president (ask the FBI!) not anything else.

Please, try to mature some.

Then let's have a wall and settle underlying problems! If it fails then you'll have bragging rights. Problem is wall do not fail. They may be not 100% but the old saying goes "every rule has its exception, the proof here is this one, it is the exception!"

No, you’re right, but you got the wrong exception.

But if we see this much, how much more does the FBI know? And what are they going to do about it?

Why don't you just quit posting BS conspiracy theories for once and I will stop responding to your BS nonsense opinion pieces? Why not refrain from making judgments prematurely before Mueller is even finished with his investigation, are you somehow privy to inside information from fake news entities such as the NYT and WashingtonCompost that the rest of us isn't?

I have a special source: Donald J. Trump.

I saw him adopt every fantasy that Putin dreams about, attacking NATO and G-seven, accepting and advocating Putin’s atrocities in Ukraine, justifying murder in Saudi Arabia, discussing maybe abandoning South Korea, doing public relations for Putin, on and on and on; Putin was terrified of Hillary getting elected, so he got trump elected instead...unbelievable success. Putin took over the the US, And Nobody Noticed!

I know, after a hard day on the tractor, you have a difficult time accepting this—and you stlll haven’t fed the hogs yet.

And there you sit, burning your boots on the wood stove at the bullshitter’s table in the general store, spitting tobacco juice into a beer can and accepting Donald Trump as your man.

Any thoughtful person watching trump for 2-3 month is would know all there is to know about trump and his loyalties, and now the FBI knows it, too. And they know a million things you and I don’t know; I can’t wait for them to speak.

Otherwise, we no longer have a country.

It is a habit “unconstrained by a concern with truth” whose essence is “not of falsity but of fakery.” The addict of bull “does not care whether the things he says describe reality correctly. He just picks them out, or makes them up, to suit his purpose.” He is “trying to get away with something.” His “focus is panoramic rather than particular,” and he shuns “the more austere and rigorous demands of lying.”

Frankfurt’s conclusion may be read as an ominous verdict on this president. The bull merchant “does not reject the authority of the truth, as the liar does, and oppose himself to it. He pays no attention to it at all. By virtue of this, bullshit is a greater enemy of the truth than lies are.”

On the surface, that describes very well Trump's disregard for the truth. He has no respect for the truth, so lying is natural, and without thought.

Most of his supporters would not be bothered with giving this explanation any consideration, and without thought will dismiss it.

As said, it is too much to think about for them.

That's stupid logic. The walls have worked. In Israel it's cut terrorism by more than 90%. In San Diego the same results along with a dramatic drop in crime.

There are more than one way a wall can fail, and perpetual warfare, war without end, is one of them.

Fighting over a wall never settles the underlying problem.

Admit vacuity and refrain—ask someone to explain that to you.
