We were there in the summer of 2009 and noticed many people in strange suits in places that were marked, 'Stay Out'. Found out later they were there monitoring the rise of the entire area. Don't remember how much the whole area lifted, but it went back down in a few weeks after we left. Sure glad we had no idea what was going on.
When it blows, the US is in big trouble. I understand it's the largest volcano in the world, and that show we watched said it will blow again...but when??

In 1972 we bought a 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath full brick with garage and large lot with mature trees in Milton, Florida near Pensacola, when I was a Navy Flight Instructor, for $21,000. We are in the area now as Snow Birds. It is still there and looks great. Will have to do some research to see what it's worth today...or maybe I shouldn't!!!

I see a PM was sent concerning the long lens. Guess I don't know where to view a PM.

Ed,
Thanks for the info. That long lens would be nice, but a little too steep for my budget.
Good luck selling it. Ate you getting out of photography?

Looking for a 2x teleconverter lens for the above camera. Was wondering if someone had an older one they aren't using and would like to sell. New 2x cost about $429. Out of my range for something I wouldn't use that often. Maybe I'm just dreaming!

He probably did this, but just in case....Make sure he registers his drone with the FAA. Also must take the TRUST test, print, and carry results with you. (Can't fail it)
Must have FAA approval before each flight as a Recreational flier. Download B4UFly app. He can submit data to FAA and get results immediately. Must keep approval on his phone to show if asked. Max altitude is 400' above ground level; AGL
Go here for details:

Many rules and regs. Huge fines if not followed.
Happy flying.

Has anyone read the agreement you must agree to use Tic Tok? They track everything you do. Key strokes, phone calls, messages, photos... EVERYTHING! Go back and read it and you will delete it too.

Is Picasa still a working processor? I used it years ago, and I thought it was discontinued.

It's discontinued with no updates, but I still use mine almost every day since it's so simple. Probably another program out there as a basic replacement, but haven't looked.

Welcome to the drone world. Taking photos at altitude makes a world of difference. If you haven't already done so, check out the Mavic Forums. TONS of info there. There are many great videos shown there too.
As for the video editing programs, there is a learning curve. Like mentioned, there are many YouTube videos to show you how. Just wish they wouldn't go so fast when jumping through the program. I have to pause a lot to see what they just clicked on.
Have fun!

I would question that photo. Do a search of her photo in the Marines. You can tell this photo isn't her. Doesn't look anything like the one shown here. It won't let me attach the real photo of her.

I never have either, I said to this man that the only aircraft called a blackbird is and only is the SR-71 and that I cant find ANYTHING online about blackbird C-130's I forgot to include that they apparently were fitted with spy equipment these so called 'blackbird c-130's'. He was insistent that they were called blackbirds but I cant believe him!

I agree. There is only one "Blackbird" and it's the SR-71.
(It's predecessor is the A-12)

It must have been his Unit that called the C-130's Blackbirds....maybe big time wantabes.
