Previously posted in the Photo Gallery but decided to repost here for additional critique and as not too many insects have been presented in this section.

Settings: ISO 200, Micro-Nikkor 105mm, f/16, 1/60 sec w/flash.

The second image is the same photograph with a closer crop.

Hi Bmac

Hi Angler
I have proof.
The aliens are so dumb, everybody knows if you grow trees on the moon you have to cover them up or they will wilt from the sun.

Just in case any of you are photographers with some limitations I thought I would ask for some suggestions. I have CHF and get winded after walking just a few feet. This has led me to get and use a mobility scooter when I leave home. So it has unfortunately limited the range and way I can pursue my photography. I also live in a small town so the opportunities for great photos is limited. I know there are some here but limited.
If you work from a scooter or wheelchair do you have any recommendations for equipment and/or ways to do some great photography?

A woman with a scooter had one at the air show last summer, she had it wrapped around the handle bar and the goose neck. she got some great shots.

Mike,

I have taken limited photos with the K5II-s, but it is a great camera. This will be my backup camera now that I have the K-3. There are a few things I have to learn with this camera but I'm sure it will be great. The first real test will come later in the week with the K-3. Only shots have been through the living room window!
Sure you don't want to replace your K5 with mine plus a K7 as a backup? $600.00 plus shipping and you have a great camera + a backup! You would think the K5 is brand new! The K7 is in great shape. Both are in original box with everything that came with the camera. The K5 charger, & cables are in original packaging. I used battery charger for K7.

I have two Pentax camera bodies that I would prefer to sell together. I have a Pentax K-7 (14mp) & a Pentax K-5 (16mp). I was given a quote by B&H of $550.00 for the two bodies. As you know they would like to make nice profit on these. I would like to put the money in my pocket rather than B&H. I'm not wanting to raise the price substantialy but feel I can do better than what they offered. I can show proof of the quote, made back in December. Both cameras are in great shape! If there is an interest I will post photos. The reason I'm selling is that last spring I purchased the Pentax K5II-s. I just received the new Pentax K-3. I have no need for four bodies. Make a reasonable offer, shipping will have to be covered also if interested.

Hi Kim
How do you like the K3? I had a K5 but it was stolen before i could take any good shots with it. I am thinking of the K3 as a replacement. mikey

I am just starting out and have a Nikon D5200 with the 55-300 lens. I am looking for a basic, reasonably inexpensive tripod.

Hi MRR909
One of the staff members of my retirement home just bought a manfrotto 393. I held it and it seems well built, he got it a walmart for $79.00.
