Your respect is dully noted. But you have not seen the new EOS R mirrorless. It is NOTHING like the M series of Canon mirrorless camera. The M series is only here to fill a small niche in the Canon lineup where people want really small ML camera and lenses. Although, I see that they are still creating more M series lenses for the M series of ML cameras.

This new series of camera by Canon is going to be a winner. Even though this first EOS R is not a pro camera body, since is lacks dual cards, and is not as weather proof as the 5 and 1 series bodies, they will have pro ML bodies soon. I would bet the farm on this.

$3400 for this body is pretty high end. I'd love to have one when my 5dMKIII and 5DSR finally become obsolete.

I think you have missed the earlier commentary about this and the posts as background to this shot? It's all explained in there? It all makes sense to me.

I did, and I over pontificated. The spirit in which this is intended and the ladies overall are just fantastic. Once I got my blood sugar back on track, I realize I have exceeded rational limits.

Having the model mimic the shape of the sculpture within the sculpture would work nicely....extend arm and elbow to shape, etc.

To be the devils' advocate: what are these images submitted supposed to convey?

- masculine strength
- masculine "beauty"
- eroticism

If this was an attempt to selfie artistically, you have to decide what you are going for; you composited four shots that each has their own set of critiques. A man with his legs spread for example isn't particularly masculine or show strength, in fact it is submissive, feminine. It may be erotic if you are into men (pardon the expression).

Would rather have seen more of her face, profile. Is this the best one from the bunch?

She needs to keep her weak chin elevated so she doesn't look like mouth to neck. So you have to pick angles she can do that with, and standing is difficult (you would have to shoot from higher angle and have her turn chin towards camera..).

Is this faceless ladyboy in a hotel wearing pantyhose? Not sure I can go with this interpretation. There had to be better imagery to work with? And don't bother with the template based filters like SmartPhoto...once you've seen one.....

Stop with the post processing; it is over used today, and really a good nude doesn't need all that.

Your original is nice, I would have shot her to avoid the background wrinkles, etc. by pulling her away from it as much as you can, and shoot with a DOF to make that go soft so you've just got this beautiful girl to deal with...then move that one light around until you get drama. Shooting with thin DOF is a bit more difficult, but you avoid retouching or trying to make filters fix backgrounds.
