What is the wattage of your power supply? You may need a beefier one.

What was your shutter speed?

Rgrenader is onto something. It very well may be that the setting you changed to get it to work was under Custom Settings > Bracketing/Flash > Flash Sync Speed.
Setting it to Auto-FP enables High Speed Sync, this allows the camera to sync at shutter speeds over 1/250 (I've seen 1/320 too depending on camera model).

I have the #4 version for Nikon and use it mainly for astrophotography. I'm am quite pleased with it. It has the distortion you would expect from a wide angle lens but it is sharp to the corners. For landscapes the AE chip is nice to confirm focus.

This was taken with that lens. 5 landscape oriented photos stitched together.

I didnt say she deserved anything. Reread my post. Bill Maher said trump’s mother screwed an orangutan and he was an ape. How is that any different? Lover boy? And you would know this how? Actually the last people I would believe is the liberal media.

Yes or no. Can you honestly not see the difference?

IR Jim,

You didn't mention lens hoods, but do you really need filters on the lenses for protection if you keep the hoods attached. Some years ago, on You-tube I believe, they had a film of testing filters for lens protectors; it didn't work. The front filter is so close to the main lens, that if it got hit hard enough to break it, the force went through to the second lens shattering it too leaving any unknown pieces of glass deeper in the lens, so it's off to the repair shop in either case.
IR Jim, br br You didn't mention lens hoods, but ... (show quote)

Lens hoods protect from bumps. Not sand, dirt, people's fingers, the elements, etc.

If I only did photography in a studio, I wouldn't use a filter.

👍👍 Well said (those in glass houses...). This member’s pedantic, rude and unsolicited critiques of the occasional grammatical error (often the result of an over enthusiastic spell checker rather than the poster’s misunderstanding of correct usage) have landed him on a number of ignore lists, including mine.

To return to the OP’s question, I would opt for more, smaller cards rather than one or two large ones. While unlikely, cards do occasionally fail, and better to lose a small portion rather than the entire record of the trip.

Normally I would ignore grammar police but his post went beyond a simple and polite correction.

My ex took that shit once upon a time for far too long. One time at about 3am she got up, drove six blocks to a friend's house, took a dump in their kitchen sink, left a note saying "Sorry, I couldn't wait for the bathroom", drove home and went back to bed. Didn't remember a thing.

The word for something you inadvertently have not kept, is "lose" pronounced "looze". The word "loose", pronounced "luce", (rhymes with "juice") means unfastened. Your shoelaces which are untied are "loose". You will"lose" your "loose" change if you have a hole in the pocket where you are carrying the "loose", now "lost" change which you did not take precaution to not "lose". This is grammar school stuff that you should know if you paid attention in grammar school. (Grammar school is, ostensibly, grades 1 through 8, if you are unaware of the meaning of "grammar school").
The word for something you inadvertently have not ... (show quote)

In your first sentence, move the comma after the word "kept" to after the word "lose".
In your third sentence, use "that" instead of "which" since the noun is followed by a restrictive clause. Unless you learned British English, then you can have a pass for that one.
In your fourth sentence you need a space after the word "will". On second thought, there are so many grammatical errors in this sentence I would suggest deleting it and trying again.
In your final sentence, move the period inside the closing parenthesis. This is done when a sentence is started with an open parenthesis.
You would know all this if you paid attention in grammar school.

Losing photos is painful, no matter what size you decide on I would set SD slot 2 for backup RAW. I use 2x 64GB cards.

Since you have Gmail you also have access to google photos. You can upload a photo at original size and share it with her.
As stated before, Dropbox is another way of doing the same thing.

-edit: needs to be done from a PC

I have the uv filter on all of my lenses for protection. I us the polaroid filter when needed. The reason for the question is it would be easier to put on the Polaroid filter if I did not have to remove the UV filter

I see your dilemma, I had the same one long ago. I had tried stacking filters and, as others have said, it would cause vignetting if shot too wide and ghosting or flares if there were bright areas or light sources in the frame.
For some situations where you're shooting long and there's no light sources in the frame, you can probably get away with stacking filters. I did this before but now I just swap them out. Sure it's a pain at times but double stacking filters causes issues more often than not. Eventually as my kit grew I keep CPL's on the lenses i use mostly for landscapes and quality UV filters for protection.
Even with 1 filter, given the right conditions it is possible they could cause flares or ghosting. I've seen it with sunrise / sunset shots, in those cases I remove the filter entirely. Most of the time, if it's a good UV filter, you wouldn't ever know it was on.

So you are saying he never say this against his wife? You know not what you speak.[/quote

“First hand” means it happened to you personally. It happened to his wife, not him.
Not quite accurate. If you witness something you have first hand knowledge of it and I believe that is what he meant. If his wife told him about it, it would then be considered second hand information.
