Because I thought it was worth discussing! Actually it was a mistake. Just not paying attention. That happens some times when you get old. Just wait for your turn. Admin can move it if he/she/it wants to!

Great catch, it's nothing wrong posting these images here, same as a heron catches and eats a fish, this nature!

Thank you ! dpullum, I did learn from you to convert my Panasonic P&S to full spectrum IR! Now the Spring is coming as well as the Summer, this will be the time again for great IR shooting!

Full spectrum converted with 720nm, I created a dark sky to make the other color to stand out.

Now it's even worse in CT, they even use a third party called "My Chart Plus" (from CT official they said) to monitor/ manage everybody's medical matter, including your doctor's appointment: test result; your health data etc....Every one of your different doctors is under their managing. I can't get my confirmation call from my doctor's office anymore like before, instead this "My chart Plus" will email me to do the confirmation and ask me to "e-check-in'. I opened this My Chart Plus account in 2020 only for the Covid-19 vaccination, now I could not cancel/close the account, that hooks me with them forever. The only way I can do to avoid the on line check-in is to call the doctor's office at least a week before to try my confirmation if I can go thought the phone line to reach a real human being to talk , not a robot. Now when we get sick we are not even suffering physically, we suffer from mentally from all these unnecessary stress. I am moving soon some time this year back to N Y State (I moved to CT from NY 10 years ago) I don't know NY will do the same!

I'm going for a blood test on Monday, a week before my annual physical. I received an email letting me pre-check-in. I had done this before, and it was no big deal. This was a big deal!

It took me at least fifteen minutes, including copying both sides of my two insurance cards and driver's license. So many questions! If they want me to do this before my physical next week, I'm going to decline. What used to be a family practice changed after the founding doctor retired. It has been "absorbed" by two or three large medical conglomerates, and everything has become more institutional. Too bad.

I'm supposed to arrive fifteen minutes before my appointment. It's almost insulting that they pre-add waiting time to my visit. 😂

Most importance I am concerning about this so called "E-Check-in" is, they will share my personal information to whoever they are. that's very dangerous now a-day, I did it before, but now I decline to do it, and I told them I prefer to check -in by phone and/or paper when I reach their office earlier to fill my information. I told them straight forward, because I don't want to give out my personal information in the internet.

The 590 nm is my favorite go-to end filter for my full spectra camera.

Yes, so do I. I use it more than my 680nm, If I want B&W I use the 850nm.

Photo 2 appears to be a simple R/B swap with attractive results distinctly different than the same if taken with an unmodified color camera. People unfamiliar with IR-shifted** photos would do a double take.
[**The use of a 590 nm filter of course is not full nIR.]

Photo 1, with a 720 nm filter, one would expect to be a B&W... you added color to the B&W?

Yes, 590nm will make the color much closer to the visible light spectrum. The second one was from a 680nm filter not 720nm, sorry I made a mistake, but the are very close. It came out with light yellowish grey, I did the R/B swap and further enhanced the color, plus darken the sky more.

here's the original of #2:
