So my question Picture maker if in 2017 you think B&H was so terrible why would you do business with them in 2020?

So do something about it. I heard a good one a long time ago. If one person says you are horses ass, take note. If several chant it perhaps you need to go to a saddle maker or take a long at your actions. This has always served me well. I do wish you well.

I hope we can find something to shoot today. Find beauty, use an image to change someone's perspective be awed by mother nature.

Thanks for your advice.
But any one that continues to attack. That is not name calling it is defining the people who attack.

Well many pages back this changed from an intellectual discussion to an attack. You were the one that changed that dynamics. Here again you are trying to change the narrative. "Poor picked on me!"

Please use the quote reply feature is reply to a post, otherwise I must assume that you are self labeling.

When one lacks an intelligent response the only defense is name calling.

You have made outrages statements, got caught in lies, tried to redirect in the face of fact, got caught again and again. All this with out shame.

I don't think of you as that name you used, but simply have a peculiar mental twist. We seem to subjected to them in the dark, when they hid their faces and are unable to face reality of their act

Picture Taker it is true about your quote about the vendor being backed up, but that does not mitigate the fact of the way you started your topic. Take the title, "B&H Use to Love," this and the way you lay the topic out reveals what you were trying to do.

You are now the issue. This is the first time that I have even remotely been personal. You are now with out any argument. I wonder if you in fact just enjoy trolling?

I would call customer service at Canon. They have always been great with me.

You have done the things that I would do. Good luck!

Especially at B&H. :-)

Henry, Thanks for being a Liaison, I for one have always found B & H to be human, have your faults, tried to overcome them, strived to be better than they are, missed the mark, but continued to try. But most import, consider that there may have been a mistake made.

An old Jewish family always said if they complain make it right but never give a discount you just train them to complain.

Keep trying and so will we!

The thing that bothers me about the OP & the original post and continual thread is a rant and inability to entertain the possibility of being a part of an error. Way back I thought perhaps I have misread this. But it continues.

I wish picture taker well but facts point to him changing every time a point is put forth. The latest that has been missed, after the B & H rep. tried to smooth the order was the OP stating, "now we don't want the order, "WOW!

I worked for an organization that was stared by an old Yiddish gentleman that moved to NYC sold fruit on street corner, made enough money to start several businesses. He spent a lot of time with me. One of the stories he always told was the your profit was in the last piece of fruit sold! Better not let it spoil. He then told me of the guy that would come along first thing in the morning, look at the best peach, and say save it for me! Then last thing at night send his kid to buy it at a discount!

Perhaps we have seen the story of the Ugly Hedge Hog!

OH, god, I want to go shoot something. I wish I could gather you all up take you up my mountain, get a picture, look each other in the eye and see if we could be civil.

I just see some bigger thing here.

Diagnosing a long term problem on a DSLR on the market for less than a year is a big ask, short term I would take it out in the field and check the operation of all the features and just enjoy it.

If there are gremlins they should expose their existence and, assuming it's not a gray market body, be under warranty for at least a bit.

I am not a Nikon shooter, but are the WARRANTIES transferable? The only thing I would be concerned with (and a big one with Nikon would be GREY MARKET goods). Always a risk but can be a reward.

Good luck, good shooting!

Well i don't know! We can make any choice we want but to me, we have spanned two days an received much new information. We can be angry, stay angry or not.

View or capture the world through F .95 or f 64 is an artistic or intellectual or theological choice.

"11Bravo" You may be correct but the point I made to start was not an attack. I was pointing out how backed up H&H was on the first day back. And the people would have thought I burned the place down.

Sorry but my image of the blog has changed.

Well my apologies as that was not what you were trying to get across. I honestly thought that it was a flame. I have in the passed missed a deadline and that is on me.

The whole world has changed with the pandemic!
