Yesterday I decided to go to Providence's Roger Williams Park, which is only about 6 miles from my home in Johnston,RI. The Park at one time was known as the most beautiful landscaped park in the US. Today it also host one of the finest zoos in the North East. Because there was still some foliage left, I decided on trying some HDR. I used both my a99 & a77. The a99 had mounted on it a Sig 150-500 & the a77 a Sony 18-250. I hope you all enjoy the photos as much as I did taking them.

ARI, you captured this park beautifully, just love the colorful maple trees
Thank you very much Carole, there will be more as I found more. Remember my Granddaughter the Artist? She will be 16 on Saturday and I bought here the Faber 120 color pencil set, she is going to be drilled.
That is great Mike she will be thrilled. We have a small art museum here in Ormond Beach and we were honored to have The Colored Pencil worldwide juried show here for 3 months in the Spring. The talent was so beautiful. I hope your granddaughter is in one day. She truly is talented.
I haven't had a descent hawk picture all year. I saw this one while I was driving down a country road earlier today. Seeing that there were no cars behind me, I managed a few shots without spooking him.
This was done using a Tamron 28-105 lens that I recently acquired. As it was, I was really reaching with this lens. When I thought about changing to my trusty 75-300mm lens, it was too late, a car was approaching from behind. Oh, well.
Still, not bad considering the heavy cropping that I did.
