I am seeking suggestions from UK members in particular for
a forthcoming trip to Wales in the 2nd half of August ( I know it is UK holiday time unfortunately).
The plan so far is to travel from Manchester via Chester to Conwy initially and finish up in Bristol about 10 days later. Also plan to visit the mountains if weather suits as well as the little rail trips. We have lists of many of the tourist attractions but I thought there may be some special photogenic location or site that warrants a visit. I like landscapes, building architecture, unusual carvings and decorations( mosaics ).
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I live in North Wales. Here's what I would recommend for landscapes. This can be done in a day. Starting from Conwy, visit the Ogwen Valley. You have lakes, mountains, waterfalls, etc. Leaving the Ogwen Valley you can travel to Capel Curig, great views of Snowdon and the Snowdon Horseshoe. From Capel Curig take the Llanberis Pass to Llanberis. Here you can catch a train to the top of Snowdon, although in August you have to pre-book. Or Llanberis has lakes, mountains, waterfalls you can see as well as the National Slate Museum (free entry). You can then return to Conwy which has the castle and the old town walls.
You don't say how long you have got in the area or if you've got a car. I can give you more detailed information if required.
This is my home-town. The owner and her family got absolutely slated for what she tried to do. But some good did come of it. Not only did the holiday company say David could keep the holiday but other horse owners were so disgusted that they set up crowd-funding to help them make the most of their holiday. So far they have raised about £600 (US$875).
And of course in true internet fashion there's now a video where Betty the horse photobombs various celebrities.
Facebook is funny about the size of photo you upload. As they put it in one of their help thingies....
"We automatically resize and format your photos when you add them to Facebook. To help make sure your photos appear in the highest possible quality, try these tips:"
Here's the link so you can read the help thingy

Personally I use the Publish Facility which can be found in the Library Module. It takes care of sizing, quality etc. I think you can even choose to use a watermark.

Can't believe North Wales is not in the Top Ten
Me neither. Who writes these lists? Someone who probably never ventures out of London, the centre of the UK.
I use the Photo, Stacking, Auto Stack By Time, and then adjust the time down to about 10 seconds. Lightroom will then put a little indicator at the start of the stack saying how many are in the stack.
It's not a 100% foolproof, but most of the time it does a very good job.
Thank you. That link has worked. Great deal on a good bit of software
I couldn't get it for $30. Although the page shows a discount down to $30 when you press buy it just downloads the trial version. There's no option to buy at the price.

In the past i have used music by Justin R Durban, Royalty Free as long as I credit him. Here's a link to his Terms of use http://www.justindurban.com/terms-of-use/ and one for the music genre http://www.justindurban.com/music-by-genre/
At one time he did have a lot more tracks you could download but if you find something you like you could always contact him to see if you could use it.
The 12-40 is never off my E-M1. Fantastic lens.
Well I just had an email from ON1 announcing a new version in the Autumn. I suspect they will be offering the upgrade at a price but we'll have to wait and see, I suppose.
I had an email some time back from ON1 saying they were working on PPS10. Thing is will there be enough new features in it to make me want to upgrade.
I have the same problem but it's intermittent. Sometimes I can log in with my pin. Sometimes I have to hit Num Lock first. Really strange.....
They do get very touchy about photographing children, especially in the UK and Ireland.
