Hi all,
just a quick question to our friends over the pond.
This year is my wife's birthday and now the children have gone we thought we might once again visit the States. At the moment we are thinking either Yellowstone, or New England Fly drive.
It will be an August visit.
Or happy to consider other places, so any ideas welcome.
When I bought my first digital camera I spent 18 months on Auto, then decided to find out what the other settings were. I now mostly use Manuel and love it, why the mistakes are mine and I able now to correct them quickly.

I don't wish to offend anyone. I just fail to see the appeal of guns. In the wrong hands they empower when empowerment is not needed.
Is it common with you guys over the pond to own and carry fire arms, or is it just press sensationalism that makes us outsiders think the minority are the majority.
My first attempt at a self portrait, I am not the most photogenic person in the world. But this one works for me.
It looks very much like this is moving away from debate, and into the realms of Anti religion.
Even if the poster is wrong,I believe in the freedom to voice an opinion. But some of the remarks are starting to err on the side of nasty. sorry but I had to say it.
I think if they are looking a photos on facebook, either they were very impressed or and god forbid they are trying to steal them for a pittance or free. Tread carefully.
I am not really that religious, although I class myself as a Christian. But to be honest I wish all shops would go back to closing on a Sunday here in the UK. I used to think it was great it meant we could shop as a family. But that has crept in to every facet of life, and work never leaves you alone even on a Sunday. I say well done them...
The first one "sleepy51" is a common starling, its considered a bit of a pest, however i think I am beginning to view them in a different light. The second one is a very small bird know here as a Long tailed Tit.
Its a nerve trapped in the shoulder blade "Hanoverfarms", very painfull..
