I upgraded my phone to the Samsung S23 ultra and am amazed at the quality of the photos. It has the option of taking shots in 12m, 50m, or 200m. Also 4 aspect ratios. I'm far from a pro but have printed many of my photos and have them on our walls, some up to 20x30 with my Canon 80D. Now my phone takes better photos and I always have it with me.
Weather permitting, I like taking hikes on Mt Rainier and carrying the camera and lenses was adding too much weight as I'm not as strong as I used to be. Now I'll just take my phone.
I know there are cameras and lenses that are better than my phone, but I can't afford them. Not that the phone was cheap.

The only reason I got this older refurb S10 was to activate my phone, Insta 360, and DJI Pocket. Since it worked on all three devices, I figured it was worth the $150. The reviews were good, and I was able to transfer the sim card from my 2018 Samsung.

I think I’ve mellowed as I have gotten older. Instead of referring to bad drivers in words I can’t use here, I just honk at them. :-)
I'm one step beyond you. I no longer honk.
As I walked toward the kitchen this afternoon, I saw what looked like a man-sized shadow moving across the floor. It didn't even phase me. I figured, "Oh, well." As it turned out, I had my glasses down a bit on my nose, and looking over them caused the illusion.
In other news, we have a chipmunk in the house. I had mouse traps all over the placer, but no interest. Then I saw the little guy running across the floor, so I knew the noise was from a chipmunk and not a mouse. I set up a Have-A-Heart trap, but he's shown no interest in it. Maybe he left the house.

USB-C
is the trend, Jerry, and for good reasons: the connector is much smaller than USB-A, so eventual ubiquity is assured; it's capable of higher wattage (240W compared to USB-A's 18W); it's more durable than USB-A and, especially, USB-Micro; and it has no upside-down.
I buy only USB-C to USB-C cables now, have for about a year. But while I wait for everything to change over, I still have USB-A and even USB-Micro, so I adapt the cables where needed. Just yesterday I ordered a handful of USB-A to USB-C adapters:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CZL3N85H?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsI should note that USB-C is a connector, not a speed. USB-C cables might allow the supply of only 5W, or they might allow 240W. Similarly, for data, they might allow 20Gbps on a USB 3.0 Gen 2x2, or just 5Gbps on a USB 3.0.

My watch is the only device that came with a C charger end. I bought a pair of cables with A connectors on the ends.

I put my expensive DSLR in the drawer three years ago and never looked back. I love the picture my Iphone takes.
The phone will never be "My Camera," but it is good in a pinch.

Yeah but I think you would consider that to be too much and I don't know if you would like to have a 1970's receiver (which I would love to have).
I have an AR receiver in the garage. That's from about 1970. When it stopped working years ago, I brought it to the local guy. He said that the bad part was proprietary, and he had to order it from AR.

But you can use 1 good data cable for all applications. Charging and all.
If the connectors fit, I use it.

I have good luck with machinery except cars. I can never keep my car running well for very long.
I now have three broken microwaves that I have to bring to a special place to dispose of. I'll have to check and see when they are open.
I've had great luck with cars - well over 100k miles on several. I've had forty-two cars since I started driving in 1960. Back then, cars were cheap, so I could buy a new one every few years. For example, I had Fords in '65, '67, and '69.

Not worth getting all hyper and red-faced.
I can't understand why people get so worked up when they are shopping. It's ridiculous. Screaming and cursing isn't required.

They make a glue for that?
