Now you have me craving maple syrup! Every single time I see or think of maple syrup, I think of Roadrunner, and how I loved his series on the process of maple syrup!

The best camera, so the saying goes, is the one you have with you. Most of us have phones with cameras which is now another niche for imaging with more sophisticated cameras with each new model. Apps are many. For this challenge, please post only photos taken with your phone and let us know what apps you use on your phone. All editing, for this challenge, should be done on your phone. For my iPhone 8S, my apps are: Lightroom, Fused, Pixlr, BeFunky,Focus and Snapseed. Many of these apps are available for other platforms. All but Lightroom are free, although some are now limiting free use with most tools in "pro" versions which = $$.

These were taken in portrait mode, and processed in "Focus" (which lets me change aperture and add bokeh), BeFunky and Snapseed. Unfortunately, I didn't write down which program.

Beautiful photos, Pat! I hope your birthday was awesome! I have missed the freedom & time to post in UHH. I was compelled to see if this challenge was still going and so thrilled to see that it is alive & well. Here are 3 cell photos. The first 2 taken today. The 3rd about 2 weeks ago when a good friend brought her new German Shepherd puppy to visit.

This red mushroom and baby pine tree caught my eye today!

Hello folks....I would like to do something special today which is what I call Pat's Palooza....

Now back three years ago Pat and a number of helpers, most are/were hoggers but also locals from around Portland, Maine worked hard, very hard, to make this Palooza. It was a success in every way. There were people from many States and two Canadian Provinces, there were courses done by Rufe and there were professionals there also and one outstanding point was that pre-amateur or pro, everyone was equal. Pat and others that were there THANK YOU so much.

I am going to enjoy seeing all the Palooza photos. Last Sunday night, March 18, 2018, about 20 of our church members were still standing around in the church parking lot. We had heard Sirens and seen rescue vehicles go down the road, but suddenly, a police car came speeding up in the parking lot to tell us they were about to life flight someone to Atlanta, about 35 miles east of us. I got my camera because I thought it would be a good opportunity to practice night photography. It was quite a show and I had fun trying out my new Tamron 18-400mm lens. It was bright - the helicopter lights were blinding. I could not see exactly what I was shooting, but I thought this photo was quite interesting.
