I don't use a mac, but I'll bet if you contact mac support they will help you out. Most likely bring it to a mac repair center and they will have software to solve the issue.

Looks like Jupiter to me. Have never found a rock like that.

Go ahead and have a good laugh. I was going to post a funny cartoon, but I'm afraid of having it moved to "you-know-where." I've been warned that having posts moved there will get me booted off. Another post was moved yesterday, so I'll have to stop posting on Chit-Chat - or at least cut back and be careful.

I've seen all your funny cartoons and loved all of them. They were funny! We seem tom be forgetting how to laugh at ourselves!

There's a fantastic Smithsonian video called "Titanic's Final Mystery" That explains why the Iceberg wasn't seen until it was too late. Proves it was NOT the fault of anyone, Captain, lookouts etc. Has to do with a very rare atmospheric condition. Google Titanic's Final Mystery and you'll find it. It's a Smithsonian video.

There's a series of "dummies" books, and there's one called "Creating Web Pages for Dummies". Don't be insulted by the title. There are superb books. There's a whole series. When I upgraded to my D7200, I got the "D7200 for Dummies", and it got me going on the 7200 fast, and I took it from there.

If you saw the demonstration flight Royal Australian Air force pilots did
in F/A18s at the 1989 Adelaide F1 GP you would know that what you
have written is a joke.

I think the Brit pilots flying the BAEs below might disagree with you too.

I had to say that, I'm ex-navy. Saw the Red Arrows at the same show. They were awesome. They did a North American tour and flew their aircraft to every show. No in air refueling, so they had to "pit" for fuel. The trip back to the UK had to be a killer.

A poem that says it all

Old Men’s Faces

Now we stand behind old men’s faces
Speak of forgotten times and places
So bent are those who wouldn’t break
Who did fearsome things with lives at stake
Their shadows sharp and darker then
Now fading away are these old men
But no one can steal the legends bold
Not thieves nor liars nor growing old
To never weave excuses that some men must
But to stand with men who earned our trust
And think of what we did back then
Before we became, these old men

Very nice series. These should be an inspiration to anyone even mildly thinking about going to Death Valley.

I've been to the American West a few times. It is flat out stunning. Monument Valley is my favorite. Antelope Canyon, The Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Zion, the list goes on and on.

I’m looking to back up photos personal photos, both from my laptop and phone. I want to have folders I can neatly organize and access to them from an app at any time. I don’t want them using my phones storage and also don’t want every picture I take to automatically upload, only when I manually do it. I have an iPhone and a ten year old MacBook Pro that all my photos are currently on. I wouldn’t mind paying a small monthly fee.

I back up to an external USB3 drive which is kept in my safe when not in use. I like to have my backup in "my hot little hands". I also back up all my photos to a second USB3 drive.

Nice capture on the pass. Not easy to do. I do a lot of race photography at Lime Rock Park (Connecticut). It's one of the stops on the Weather Tech sries, only 90 miles from my house.
