Read up on the link provided before you make a decision to go, and let someone know where you are going so they know where to send the SAR helicopter to get you out.
I grew up in those alder hells. Too out of shape, lazy and far away to be thinking of it now. There was a time...
Spectacular. Cool link. Thanks
I've been around and on Mt Shuksan and never heard of the lake or the creek. Would make an interesting quest.
Fun link. Thanks for posting.
Love your back yard.
The coffee made this feel appropriate...
I was eating breakfast with my 13-year-old granddaughter and I asked her, "What day is the 20th of February?"
She said "It's President's Day!"
She is a smart kid.
I asked "What does President's Day mean?"
I was waiting for something about Washington or Lincoln
etc.
She replied, "President's Day is when President Obama steps out of the White House, and if he sees his shadow we have one more year of unemployment."
You know, it hurts when hot coffee spurts out your nose...
( ...laughed so hard, tears ran down her leg.)
Your comment had that effect on me. Will be using that one.
Fun video, spent some time debating whether or not we would have seen the whole show or just heard it from down the block.
It's good to nod and say Amen but you have to start at home. I haven't voted for an incumbent candidate for well over 10 years. It's usually pretty easy because living on the west coast means that the brain damage running rampant here results in no politicians who vote with me in mind are in office. IMHO we should make Ron Paul king of the USA.

That government is best which governs least, because its people discipline themselves. If we are directed from Washington when to sow and when to reap, we will soon want for bread.

Always look forward to your posts. You have a gift for turning the well photographed "ordinary" and an appropriate quote into something near spiritual. Thanks
Both nice shots.
Not like that today. Last I heard they had upward of 4' of snow and ranchers were afraid they might have lost 50% of their stock.
That was amazing, what fun! I don't usually do live events but I might be tempted to go to that one.
Thanks for bringing it to us.
