well said tide 531... Yes what she said!
Dennis...don't let it bother you. I was somewhat surprised when I had someone ( name withheld ) make comments about my pictures being too white yellow or green. I found out pretty quick that I must be working with one of those cheap cameras A FUJIFLM FinePix S3000...However I happen to love the camera and am very happy to have one. It is just the nature of some and yes they may be trying to help aomeone that could have an adjustment that is off. Hang in there this sight is for all of us to add our pictures for all to see.
Buddy
Well now lets see how can I answer that? Okay here goes; yes he was as he fought in WWI carried a rifle and a pistol and used both of them for there intent. He carried a side arm for at least twenty years as a County Sheriff's deputy in Tennessee. So I guess he was quite a pistol.
Take care my friend and oh by the way I used to wear a hat similar to yours when I also carried for seventeen years as a Deputy Sheriff in Illinois and prior to that I was a police officer in a town north of Chicago for nine years ( but wore a different hats.) You could say I was a man of many hats. LOL
See ya!
I am one happy son of a gun nonoBuddha
I must say that is a very beautiful picture
Thank you for your suggestions of white and etc. However I have taken three or four shots of this barn since and the pictures came out perfect. It was a very simple fix.
I took the shots when it wasn't so cloudy. Plus earlier in the day.
Strange how those simple improvements from mother nature made all the difference in the world.
son helps in building the new corner
This one had caught my eye quite a while ago and finally one day I had my camera with me and stopped and took the shot
Raising and installing a foundation
Yes I could very easly scan the sky only but could not darken any colors. It would perhaps look better but when I originaly took the short I wasn't looking for more than getting the barn and the logs into the shot. Thanks for your suggestion.
Thank you for your kinds words. We found this one by accident it is located right across the dirt road a few yards from a Winery. About two miles off of County Rd C near Blair WI.
yes matter of fact it is a red barn, one is totaly falling down onto it self the other one, mostly tin is in a little better shape.
Am sending another one here as well. This one is one of my best shots of old barns. ( or at least I think so ) It is a very large and unusual barn.
A non working Barn
Modlea day; the pic that I sent about old buildings that are worn and falling down was meant for your eyes. Don't know where it went but it is in here some place
Buddy...Liked your Old Homestead shot very much.
These are the kind of pictures that I look for when my wife and I take our rides out into the country here in WI. The more the building leans or is spliting into a pile of rust the more I like taking the picture. One of these day it may be difficult to find such a nice shot as you have entered here.
Thanks for sharing it with a neby like me.
Buddy
The image is what it is all about. These are a little different bu the thought is still the same. Taking a drive in the country.
Taking a drive in the country
it is amazing how some of your pictures look very similar to ones that I have taken. This is the time of the year that it is most beautiful; I took pictures evry two days of this tree and how it changed during that short time frame
This is one of my first shots taken at a music center at Ashley Furniture in Arcada WI. My wife is holding a real Jet Fighter in her hand. (Tip ) this is a trick shot but it is a real Jet.
