Not to mention that additional hands might have to be brought on by states to handle the tax remittances.
Wonder what the effect will be on those states that do not have sales tax, like Texas for example. Will Texas create a sales tax? Heaven knows that state sales taxes do bring in additional revenue for their treasuries.
I would suggest that you crop the top 50% so the blurred background doesn't distract from the main subject - your flower.
Perhaps cropping the right side to just short of the first blade of grass and cropping the left to just short of the second blade of grass.
The tail. You can still see the mandibles and part of the head too.
Also there is more of the cattapillar to see
Great suggestions all.
Now I have to experiment with them.
thank you
I was trying to use backlighting from the sun to shoot some blossoms blooming in a shady area at a park. The problem is I didn't want too much silhouetting and more texture to come through.
Can that be done?
I also have that "portrait" lens for my T2i. It has become my favorite. It's great for grandchildren and other people shots, as well as nature. I think the problem with the lens is that if I don't hold my camera perfectly still when I push the shutter, it could be out of focus at that second. I agree that a tripod might be a good option if you have the time to compose, frame, and shoot.
Ever since 9/11 authorities are nervous about photography of public places. I'm from the Wash DC area and that can be a problem for tourists and even some locals taking happy snaps.
