My mom, "God rest her soul" would have laughed harder than both of us!
I notice that as my lenses get better my PP goes down, I struggle with my tight inner self, about the price of a lens, but also notice that the first razor sharp images cause that to disappear. If school would have been half this much fun I would have graduated at the top of my class.
Thanks Erv for the reply, I have been reading the forum for about 6 months and have gleaned much useful knowledge. I am quite familiar with your home town, OTR truck driver for 30+ years, worked for Shewin Williams out of Cleveland for 11 years. Retired in 2000, I have been trying to get my brain switched over from film to digital. For this the forum has been priceless!!

I'm from Dayton also, hope you took your camera for a walk today. It was a beautiful day. The bad weather tells me it's about time to head for the AF museum :)
I always read all the reviews that I can find when buying a new lens, but I trust more the first hand reports of someone using that particular lens and telling how it performed for them in everyday use. My latest purchase was a 16-85mm Nikon lens. It does'nt seem to leave the camera. Best walk around lens yet.
Thanks for all the good info. that is freely given. It has helped make many critical decisions and saved much time and money. Last big decision, D7000 and several lenses.
