Premier Ink supply HP origiinal inks for the HP8850 onmmly at £25 per cartridge!
Nikon but it gives you a range to work from, on my cropped D300 a 17-55 F2.8 was fine for Venice, Pisa and Florence
I heard the same arguement about car bumpers back in the sixties "impossible to have a mini and Rolls royce with the same height bumper " turns out they were the same height
Dont get an HP, I have the 8850 drinks incredibly expensive inks in huge amounts any one know of a good bulk ink for it. I love the results just cannot afford to use it
Different subject, sort of but anyone know of a goodbulk ink for HP8850 therirs is sooooooo expensive, so whilsdt the results are good and last I cannot afford to use it!
beware of customs duty if you purchase from abroad, I have been stung a couple of times in the past, I now only purchase from the UK, it can work out cheaper and is quicker
It is OK treadwl, its illegal to catch the fow in the UK
Nice buit I am amazed you had any memory left in the camera to take these when in Siem Reap mine were all used on ther Temples:-)
Having gone down the long expensive route of cheap tripods and heads graduating to a decent one IMHO I would now only look at RRS, Acratech, Swis Arca. It will last a life time and you will never need to change or upgrade what ever glass and camera you are using.
Its cheaper to get a good one at the start I have a cupboard full of cheap unuseable tripods and heads .
A good head is also far quicker to use
Take a look at Nissin Di866 mk2 you get ETTL and a GN of 60 way cheaper than Cannon of Nikon, and well built
wow Kobuk, lucky you All RRS stuff is brilliant
I must admit to using a ball head on my monopod in Namibia taking safari photographs out of the car.
The monopod was wedged between the door and my leg and so solid as a rock, then the ball head was a necessity
NO tilt heead nessasary if you use an L bracket, if you get a swiss Arca compatable quick release its a cople of seconds to change from landscape to portrait. and the weight is over the monopod
Best to get a right angler bracket and keep the camera over the monopod not dangling of one side, cheaper than a head as well
I used the optech rainsleeve several times , not the best cover, but it worked fine both keeping my equipment dry and dust free, and thats a minior miracle in Namibia, its also tiny when not in use so easy to transport around the world
