When my fellow photographers were talking about shooting weddings with didital cameras I thought they were out of their minds. I still shot my last wedding with a Hasselblad fourteen years ago and loved it . Digital has just about ruined it for the small photography studio.
Well, got no feedback on my 1st post,so here are a couple more. Feel free to critique, advise, and whatever else. I happened to walk up on Bambi while strolling early one morning in Custer State Park while Kittygirl is my cat.
Yesterday was the first time I tried this sort of thing. I'm working in photoshop elements9 which seems a bit clumsy with this. I'm merging a B&W with the colour original and penciling in the colour. Hints? Better software? Any comments? Subject?
I need to figure how to do that. First I need to have a cutie like that.
While visiting the beautiful city of San Antonio, Texas, the botanical gardens and the Riverwalk seemed to be a good place to practice taking photos. Let me know what you think!
River walk is the best of SA. You did a great job.
Still have lots of photos stored that I haven't looked at in years, but if I pulled them out I would have this same problem. There's just some ya can't get rid of & that's OK. I see why you can't. Its a great shot that just came up soft. Still to good to discard. Kudos to Ya.
I think that photos are like fine wine, they get better over the years

I've been looking for a site where people interested in photography discuss interesting things and it looks like I have found it. I currently live in Tempe, AZ for inexplicable reasons; I'm not a big fan of the desert. Until recently I lived in Baltimore, MD, which I consider my hometown. I've been painting or photographing for 40 years or so in various stages of professionalism / amateurism but there is still much to learn. So much to see, so few pixels. I look forward to learning from all of you and sharing what I can.

You didn't ask but you might just wait a few minutes to see if the cloud cover changes. I'm learning patience.
