I've had the HS10 for over 2 years, and get more pleased as time passes. If I could justify it I'd get the HS30 without question.

I've been using the Fujifilm HS10 (24 - 720mm equiv), for over two years, and am satisfied to point that I would like to move to the next generations of the same camera, but have no burning need to. The only downside is the small sensor is not for dim light shooting.

I second the recommendation for Lowe. Excellent impact protection plus built-in rain cover. Overall design seems to think of just about everything.

I have been using the small LowePro Slingshot for almost 2 years and have no reason to change. Move from back-pack to belly-pack in 2 seconds. Camera available in time it takes to move zipper about 17 inches.

You would probably need a medium or large Slingshot to accommodate your large lens.
