This lily is surrounded by a messy background of matted leaves so I gave it more pp than normal. Also, this was shot in bright sunlight, and that helps it. 1/1500 sec, f/8, iso=400
Got out for a short walk in the woods with the camera and got these little wildflower pix. The first taken 1/125, f/5.9; the other 1/50, f/4.2, both at iso=200.
Hi .... Thanks, I'll gratefully take any complement I get ... but ... I was trying to capture some brief bubbles floating on the water surface and just got this by lucky accident<lol>! I'm glad you enjoyed the picture.
...fwliw... I like the No. 1 of the second pair best for it's gentle and subtle blending of the color. But all of them are amazing. Thanks for asking and making me think a little <lol>. Tom
The rain finally stopped leaving a puddle in the grass. It was still sprinkling very lightly. I took the camera out to see what I'd get. Surprised to get this splash picture at only 1/125 sec. f/5.9 iso=800.
Thanks Jerry, I'm glad you enjoyed the pretty flowers. Since imaging is always a learning experience I try to draw some lessons from this. More light (direct sunlight) would have been nice and I probably could have raised the iso speed somewhat without introducing too much noise. But these flowers are lovely and they make the picture. Happy 4th!
This large red, white, and blue 4th of July flower arrangement caught my eye. This was shot at iso 80, f/3.9, and 1/8 sec with VR active. Happy 4th! Comments welcomed.
The moon is relatively easy since it's in normal "daylight" and takes a normal exposure. It suggests some sort of tripod although handheld is possible. This exposure of 1/50 f/5.9 iso=80 is relatively simple, but fl=630mm is a little delicate and favored using a tripod.
This lily was one of the first in the bed to bloom and I caught it right after a shower passed through. 6/24; 1/80; f/4; iso=80; fl=59mm macro; Nikon L340
