Had to cut to the chase at page 7. Looked at all the wonderful posts, but we are now in stage 1 of the incoming blizzard - heavy rain turning to snow. HIgh winds expected, so I really anticipate power outs for our house this time around. Winds 50 MPH anticipated for 36-48 hours so bucket trucks won't be able to go up until it dies down... 12-18+" of snow. It is April, right???

Some geometry in the insect/plant world.

Hope you got plenty of wood to burn

Good start, Vaun, and thanks for finishing up the FreeSunday I started. I lost all WIFI not long after it was started. Something happened between then and now, and miraculasly, I'm back on line, and I had to cancel ATT coming by to check it all out. I'm really glad I won't be missing your "Nature's Geometry". There are many geometric shapes to be captured in nature.

Folks hike up to the top of this solid dome found in Enchanted Rock State Park here in Texas.

Well, I'm a little confused about who is to get FreeSunday started. I see my name on the March calendar and Vaun's Photo on the April calendar. So we may have two FreeSundays running parallel to each other this week.

It's been a good run, and I have thouroughly enjoyed every bit of it since I took it over from Jim a while back. I'll kick off this last one with these, and will look for yours when you post.

Some of the plantings in my xeriscaped back yard are blooming,

You've started a good one, Leslie. I have a few shots of oxidized iron to share as well.

Came across this ruins on a jeep ride in AZ once. Only thing left that could rust was these halves of the door hinges.
