"By now, and by god, it should have settled permanently in the consciousness of the nation what a huge and untoward gamble with the country John McCain and his campaign took in 2008 when they elevated Sarah Palin from her rightful place on the tundra to the political celebrity she currently enjoys. McCain should pay a heavy price for unleashing this ignorant, two-wheeled bilewagon on the country's politics. If you think she's a legitimate political leader, you're an idiot and a sucker and I feel sorry for you."

You are wrong, here is an interview with Katie Couric that shows palin admitting she said it. Get your facts right.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gk8moOxzlGQ

I clicked on your link and what she said was "you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska" as far as I know that is a true statement.

I agree. My new policy is pretty much off-handed. I also agree that it is not fair and is prejudicial against a group of fine individuals (Rutgers grads). But I am employing the same argument Rutgers is using against Ms. Rice. Are you as concerned about the Rutgers action as you are about mine?

Yes I am and if you look back you will see that I supported Ms. Rice emphatically, however, I can't support you. But I couldn't care less about who you hire or don't hire. None of my family are in need of your jobs plus I don't think any of them would want to work for someone as closed minded as you. Strange how we could be on the same side and still disagree!

Congratulations to your daughter and to her family for her completing her degree requirements in a tough academic regimen. Might I suggest that your daughter contact Rutgers and let them know their actions are not in standing with her values. Unless of course, they are.

BTW I'm not swayed by "fair" in my new policy of not hiring Rutgers grads. I clearly understand that maybe a few individuals may suffer as a result of my policy, however, their sacrifices will contribute to the welfare of the sum group. I am embracing the same logic as I have experienced and what I see in many other areas.
Congratulations to your daughter and to her family... (show quote)

Well my daughter doesn't need a job she is well employed and doing well so weather you hire Rutgers grads or not will not effect her one way or the other. And I don't think anyone will really notice or care who you hire but I do think it is a very closed minded approach(pretty much like a liberal would think).

Great editorial! Pretty much sums up my opinion. Still won't interview nor consider Rutgers grads for my enterprise! I will rescend my policy only when Rutgers students and faculty admonish those that have displayed their bigotry and retract their position.

My youngest daughter graduated from Rutgers. I can assure you that she is not a liberal. She was very liberal while first attending Rutgers but soon got a dose of reality from some of her fellow students. It was a life changing experience for her. So don't take it out on all Rutgers alumni.

Dude, you need to step away from the kool-aide bowl... There were several investigations into the alleged lies by the Bush administration and they all came up empty.... It is clear that the Iraq war has been bad for this country but your conspiracy theory is nothing more than Bush hatred. The intelligence was wrong plain and simple.

You guys are brainwashed but I guess you would never admit that to yourself... just listen to the dems talking about WMD starting even before Bush came to office and then what they said in giving him authorization for the war.

Blurryeyed, You must have made up those videos surly no Dem would have ever made those statements. You should be ashamed of yourself! We all know that only the Dem's have the right to rewrite history. Just ask the Dude Hillary had nothing to do with Benghazi and of course Obummer didn't know any thing about anything.

My son was luckily enough to hear Condi speak at one of his companies functions. He thought she incredible! Very inspiring and a great speaker, he has also heard Juliania(spell?) and this year he will hear Captain Phillips.

I don't know how you get the Dude to stop drinking the Kool-Aid.

I have heard a lot of people, close friends included, explain to me about the tea party.

Comparing what they say and what I see, there is a big difference.

I expect that the video will be like what other people and close friends have told me.

I'm still left with my own experiences and observations, which are not favorable toward the tea party.

I find I have nothing in common with the national spokespersons/supporters of the tea party. They are too extreme for me.

No, I won't watch the video. I didn't watch any German propaganda, either. And, I'm not comparing the t party with the Germans, so don't accuse me of that.

Just my HO but it seems to me that anyone who is not willing at least listen to the other side is an obstructionist. I don't like the man in the white house, but I do listen to what he has to say(even though I want to throw something through the TV) so that I can try to make an informed decision.

This is the pictures from Part one, "Great Moments In Wasteful Spending" (also picture of Richard Sports )

On Jan. 10, The New York Post reported: “The National Institutes of Health will spend $224,863 to test 95 ‘custom-fitted’ condoms so every American man can choose the one that fits just right.” Taxpayer dollars did not need to be wasted on what the manufacturers already know, when the real problem is that the Food and Drug Administration, unlike the Europeans, has not approved the sale of alternative sizes.

Mosh, In this case it is not a bait and switch. They sent you a camera that is way more expensive then the one you ordered. The Canon 70d lists for over $1000 on amazon the SX 50 lists for less than $200. Clearly they made a mistake in your favor. How you want to handle it is up to you.

Pcity I am a canon guy I have had canons since the AE1. I have had only one problem with a canon camera and it was a P&S that I bought for my wife. I sent it back to canon under warranty and it has worked perfectly ever since. I think both brands are excellent it's all in what you are used to. If you were to switch to canon I believe you would learn it pretty quickly. But you need to compare both and make your own informed decision.

Be careful of buying large amount of HP ink if you don't use them by the expiration date Hp will not honor the warranty this is also true of almost all refill companies. The cartridge will sill work but if it fails you are out of luck. Most refillers allow one year. I do some club work that requires me to do large amounts of printing(mostly club newsletters) twice a year. So I need to have ink on hand for these times. I used to buy large amounts to have on hand until I ran into problems with some cartridges only to find out that the company wouldn't stand behind them.
