Thanks, Judy. You need not worry that I have not been after him hot and heavy. I contacted the AG, Sherif, the city police, the licensing board, and a lawyer. Unfortunately there has been so much of this going on that it is hard to get much done. He did violate his license, so the Board of Contractors is watching him.

Thanks, clicker. My daughter's house was completed the 1st. of June. So we have just moved in here. We have been in a rent house until then.

There is still at least a month or two left to get all the work done. Much of my time is spent talking with people who can help me get the rest of my money from the first contractor. And that is not looking promising at present.

Good to see you, Dane. Wish I could help with the calendar, but things are still very unsettled for me. Work has finally started on my house and everyday is busy picking up stuff or choosing things like facets, hinges, door knobs, moldings, etc. My first contractor took my money, but did not work, so I am still homeless, so to speak. Actually I am at my daughter's house. I do not know when I will get to move home, but let's pray for August.
