Bob, next time you see a pair ask them if they wouldn't mind relocating down to the Vets home in Yountville Ca. We have a 550 acre campus that is like living in a park and my club will Garontee they will be the stars of our on campus photo shoots. Please.

At least at the zoo most anyone can find one and chances are it will be sitting still long enough to take it's picture. Good call, and good photo.

I like it. It reminds me I haven't been there for a very long time.

Great choice of subject. With limited control in the camera you might consider Picasa for editing, it's free and the simple adjustments are easy to do.

Jack, Is that lens not compatible with the E30? If I could afford to upgrade I would also convert the 510 to infrared.

Condor; the 70-300 f4-f5.6 lens is just a standard quality lens compatible with all E series Olympus cameras.

So what you're saying is that the E30 is too upity to be seen with just a standard quality lens, hmmm?

Not saying that at all. I use it all the time. But my 50-200 f2.8-3.5 lens gives me a sharper image. Good glass = sharper images. But 1200 dollars is a lot to pay for a 200mm lens.

No kidding, it would probably take me 2 yrs. to save up for one.

Condor...thanks for your comment. It is not an ancient IBM card I assure you. The quince I have heard makes good jelly, but I have never done that and not sure where I would start.

What about this new photo...what would you say that is?

Looks like a fungus of some kind

Snailgarter--Are you sure the first one isn't a prehistoric IBM punch card? Second one--never saw anything like that before, Cool. Quinces make good jam.
