I haven't used a drive-thru in years. Aside from what you mention, I can't understand the clerk, and the clerk can't understand me.

This may be a little to long but it covers a lot of things Jerry mentions in a different way. You can skip around if you don't have time. Kind of funny if you can relate! https://youtu.be/SHnTocdD7sk

Is it just me or my luck. Seems like every time someone just pulls into the drive thru line in front of me, orders for a bus load of people. LOL! Doesn't matter if it is Starbucks or KFC. Then to add to the drama they sometimes have a diesel engine they let idle loudly filling your car with fumes. Does this ever happen to you? I usually order ahead on their app so my food is sometimes cold. YOU KNOW WHAT THEY ALWAYS SAY ABOUT THE DRIVE THRU. LOL

If you use Google chrome as your browser, right click on first picture * choose search image with google lens. The pictures that show up call it a quick whip.

I find it interesting that only female ducks Quack. I could expand that to humans but I won't go down that path for sake of controversy. LOL

We wanted to take her a couple of bottles of Early Times bourbon medicine for her cough and some chewing tobacco and her favorite cigars. She hasn't been real steady for some time and recent reports mentioned she hadn't been keeping the property up. Granny wasn't home this trip so we left the goodies and will return some time in the distant future.

Great Collection! Nice composition! Number 5 shows she still has electric and Cable TV. You can still watch Football.

Thanks for your comments. This engine had a cheater switch engine pushing it behind the tender. I was just lucky enough to catch this shot without exposing the diesel engine. I have shots of the whole train but that spoiled the picture. I also converted this to black and white giving it a different perspective.

Fine shot, good perspective. If you haven't done it, take the ride. Did it in September, enjoyed it, and got lots of photos.

Thank You. I enjoyed the photos that you posted. I belong to History Colorado Museum and get 4 free passes a year to the Georgetown Loop. I have not been on the train in a year thanks to Covid.

Amazing engineering to get up a mountain. Quick shot from a parking lot as I got out of my car.

For all you people that like to watch your repairman work on your stuff you might want to follow this guy on Youtube. I like to watch this guy. He records all his service calls. He sometimes uses language that might be inappropriate but sometimes I do too when trying to fix things. I am surprised how much you can learn from watching him. I have included a link to one of his service calls. You might get addicted to watching him. LOL https://youtu.be/5u7WeQOZLRw

Does anyone remember pulling into a gas station and telling the attendant to give you "$2.00 worth please"

Quixdraw Sorry I don't mean to step on your post. I did enjoy your pictures and they brought back memories of good times with grandkids riding train and touring the mines and having a hotdog lunch in mountains. Next time you should drive over Guanella pass. Scenic drive to 11680 feet. Lots of Bighorn Sheep. Knowing that you are from Montana. I am sure mountain passes are the norm for you. A couple of years ago I took pictures of the leaf change and made a slide show you might enjoy. It is only 3 min.

I used to go to George Town at least 3 times every summer before the pandemic. The loop is an amazing sample of engineering allowing train to climb the mountain with heavy loads. Guanella Pass is also great leaf peeping in the fall.

I’m feeling good because my wife said I only have two faults, one I don’t listen and something else.

If you have a MAC and Nikon this is an easy way to find shutter count. Here is a link.

No software needed. Preview has the ability to give you shutter count.
