It appears that the cord that came with the camera is faulty.

Make sure you have the latest LR update installed. If so, the next update might have the Z9 included.

I just updated it two days ago. Guess I should call Adobe. Thanks.

When I try to download my Z 9 to LR Classic using import it does not give me the Z 9 as a Source as it does with my D850. I have all of my LR Classic updates as current. Is there something I still need to do in order for it to find my Z 9 as a source? I do have it connected via the cable provided with the camera. Thanks in advance for your help.

My local camera store will not take in any used equipment at this time because new is flying off of their shelves.

You ALL have been incredibly helpful. Thank you so much. Looks like I will end up ordering 2-3 of these and decide which works best for me.

I recommend the Chobe bag Version 2, from Gura Gear. It comes in two sizes, 13 inch and 15 inch . Inserts are available designed to hold bodies and lenses. (added cost I believe).

I been using version one since it was first introduced. And I use it for a lot of non photo purposes too. Very well made and not that heavy.

Have both. I generally use one of my two photo backpacks and my shoulder bag sits on the shelf. So was wondering if I was missing anything. The OP had very good reasons for a shoulder bag, I'll stay with my backpacks.

I really should have sent the prior message to the person who wanted me to just try it. Thanks.

I would love to be able to use a backpack. Unfortunately it just doesn’t work for me. I have a bag on wheels that holds most everything. But I have to have someone else along to lift it for me because my back could go out if I did and I’d have to lift it with just my good arm. That’s why I’m looking for something for just this one camera. Enjoy your backpacks. I wish I could.

Mine is a 55AW Top Loader zoom. I’ve had it a few years, so there’s probably a new model. I’ve got a lot of bags, but I have a couple of these in different sizes that just hold a camera and one lens with a pocket for batteries or filters. I use them more than any other bag. I often know what I’m going to shoot, so I just take one lens and put this over my shoulder - not much bigger than just the camera and lightweight.

Thanks again.

I would think my FF Canon with the battery grip and 70-200 f2.8 would be comparable in size to your Z9 and similar lens, but if you give LowePro a call with the dimensions, they’ll check and recommend (and refund your $ if it doesn’t fit).

Maybe I’m seeing the wrong bag. The one that comes up is for a much smaller lens. What is your bag model? I will give them a call tomorrow.

Just curious as to why you'd want a shoulder bag rather than a backpack.

I have larger sized bags but they are too much on my back. With the weight of this camera I was thinking I just needed something to carry just this combo and nothing else. It will mostly be to transport in the car more than carry on trails. Backpacks are difficult for me to get on after a few injuries to my back and rotator cup. So with one good shoulder left I need something more one sided.
