There are times when a man becomes remembered for a fragment of his life, a comment a painting or worse ignorant attitude and position that lead to the death of many. Rumsfeld, Secretary of Defense from 1975 to 1977, is best remembered for his famous paragraph about known knowns, unknown knows paragraph. One paragraph out of a life's works. Nixon known for his erased 18 seconds and I am not a crook quote. A skilled painter, Edvard Munch, is best known for his quick unsophisticated almost child like painting/sketch "The Scream." The Scream shows us how Munch felt when he created it; expressionism/impressionism before the movement existed. The Scream has a life if it's own, Munch is unknown to most, his painting is known and has a name that stands alone.

While The Scream was meant to express Munch's self frustration, it has become his fame by expressing the frustration and anxiety of others in many in many differing situations, for example, the Spanish Civil War when the Germans bombed the citizens in 1937. The Scream by Munch is iconic and among the worlds 10 most famous paintings/sketches as documented in worldatlas articles -10-most-famous-painting-of-the-world. The painting is famous, Munch is not.

Edvard Munch was born in 1863 in Laten, Norway. Before the impressionism movement he established a free-flowing, psychological-themed style all his own. His painting "The Scream" ("The Cry"; 1893), is one of the most recognizable works in the history of art. I have taken the liberty of modifying the Scream to express Trump's expression if the North Koreans are not huffing and puffing like our president who has an obsession with nuclear weapons and actually hit us. Surly we all have to some degree an unspoken anxiety for our children, grandchildren who may be the victims of a nuclear exchange. While we, as a country, are strong and would be the last man standing in an exchange, we would be fatally wounded. 9-11 will be trivialized by World War Three.
