I was shooting the sunrise the other morning and turned around to check out the moon. I was going to frame the moon under a palm tree, when I was this statue across the street. I decided to frame it with the guy looking at the moon with his telescope, when a plane came into view. Fortuitous timing and luck.
[quote=Woodsman]I had a similar issue after Lightroom CC did an update a few months ago. I found out it was missing a file, If you are running Lightroom CC and did an update check for the config.lua file and if its missing try this
Choose Edit > Preferences.
In the Preferences dialog, go the Presets tab.
In the Presets tab, click the Show Lightroom Presets Folder button. The root preset folder opens in the File Explorer.
In the File Explorer, navigate into the Lightroom folder.
Go to the link https://adobe.ly/2hUHGYa and download the config.lua file. Copy the downloaded config.lua file into the Lightroom folder mentioned in the previous step.
Relaunch Lightroom Classic CC.[/quote
Thank you for the help. I tried to download the config.lua file, but this came up.]

Can you describe your steps in "loading pictures in Lightroom onto my Laptop"?
When LR opens, my catalog files come up grey. Also when inserting my card reader and uploading them into LR the same thing happens
When loading pictures in Lightroom onto my laptop, the thumbnails are grey and no picture comes up. Does anyone know how to correct this?
It was working fine one day and now it's not. I've tried to reinstall LR, but it's the same result. I've also deleted my cache.
Thank you in advance.

How many FPS? Was there time to see it, then press the shutter button? One must see a lot of sunrise/sunsets over the ocean to see one (I always thought).
I used a cable release and snapped off six shots. I had an idea of when it might happen, and got lucky. I was so thrilled when I looked back on my camera and saw the green. I was able to see it as it happen. It is such a cool experience, and gives me such a rush every time I see it.

I knew it was real, but you wouldn't believe how many people don't. It's so cool to witness, even better to capture.

Ok I'll bite. What is that?
It usually lasts only a second or two β which is why it is referred a flash β as the sun changes from red or orange at sunset, for example. The green flash is viewable because refraction bends the light of the sun. ... This "green flash," caused by light refracting in the atmosphere, is rarely seen.
In California when there is Santa Ana conditions (warm winds blowing offshore) at the right amount of particulant matter (smog or smoke from fires) in the air on the horizon.
I've seen many, and captured only a couple.
I finally caught a double stacked green flash.

How do I save my pictures to get the highest resolution for printing on aluminum? Being new to photography I would like to start printing large portraits. I am not sure what would be an acceptable mb for a 24x36 print, and how to save them after downloading the raw image in Lightroom.
Thank you for your input.
